Saw this for todays upcoming hot deals on Amazon. Should start at 9:00am EST. Seems like a good deal. Get a 360 for $100.

From reading CAG, it looks like these sold out in less than 10 seconds. Also to warn people, there is a certain allotment for this deal and they are priced 199.98. If that's the price you get in your order confirmation, then you will get the $100 promo code. If your item is priced 199.99 (1 cent more), then you did not get in on the deal. A small number of people still got Amazon to confirm the deal even at the 199.99 price but I wouldn't count on it. Most people are getting denied. |

I got one too. I hit add to cart instantly, got it in my cart, and by the time I hit "proceed to checkout" (which was 2 seconds, tops), it came up as $199.99.
So in the end I actually got fudgeed. The whole process took 5 or 6 seconds tops and I still got screwed.

I think I would of had one, but my Amazon made me sign into my shopping cart which took an extra 2 seconds (even though I was totally still signed in on the site, so I don't get it).

yeah it should automatically block the transaction if the deal is over (they should make a seperate item list instead of the one......I wonder if people put the amazon 360 in their cart and just hit confirm checkout when the deal started and it adjusted the price
I know if I leave stuff in my cart over time and price drops it is auto adjusted...

Same crap. Clicked the second it popped up, showed $199.98, click order and boom, got $199.99 on the order! Took like 5 seconds. WOW! I heard people call and complain to them and a few got their's fixed. (read that over at cag). I called and got mine cancelled. Pricks!
AHHHHHHH! And I just seen walmart had more on their website online, so I went to order, put the info for the giftcard and it went out of stock!

i wasn't really attracted to the walmart online deal. do you guys really shop at walmart.com enough to want one of their e-gift cards? for me it was gonna be either amazon or walmart b&m or bust. |

i am a bit pissed since i bought an arcade a week ago, im thinking of returning it and seeing if they will have some sort of deal black friday but i had used my 30 off coupon from trade ins and don't think they will credit me for it. |

It said $198 for me and then once I made it final I got the conformation email saying $199.99. I am pissed now cuz I already own an xbox and dont need this one. I was gonna give it away for christmas and keep the giftcard.
Now I have to try to get this canceld. Amazon sucks ass.

chances of getting in on a deal like this is slim sucks not everyone can get the deals but thats the way it goes returning it and trying to get one will most likely be a waste of your time and thats if they even have the sale again

oh yeah im not hoping for something like this but maybe like buy a 360 arcade and get a $30-50 game or credit or point/live card, but then again if i don't get a credit back for my coupon it wouldn't be worth it and i still have my other old 20gb 360 just sitting for the moment. |

don't give up on your orders.. amazon is giving people credit if they say it was on it when they added to cart. Some people are even gettng $100 taken off their order. |

doesnt make any sense since they say while supplies last right in the lightning deal...anyways mine is already canceled so the chances of getting hooked up are really zero now

I am just saying at least 25 people I know of was able to call amazon and tell them that when they added it to their cart it was goldbox and at checkout it wasn't and got the discount added. Some people they are turning down. Check out CAG and slickdeals if you are doubting amazon adjusting for some people. Worth a shot |

I stand correct got an email from amazon today say it appears I ordered a 360 during the lightning offer and they are sorry there was a problem where I didnt get the offer if I am still interested I can purchase the console for $199.99 and get the gift code 7 days after it is shipped....as long as I place my order by Nov 14 at 11:59 PST .....Needless to say I just placed the order
thats some damn good customer service in my book....maybe its because I post in the reason for cancel what happened or maybe everyone who canceled the order gets that message I dont know
