I don't know what it is, but every piece of footage/trailer I've seen for this movie just makes me go "meh".
I have no interest in it at all. Sure I might watch it way on down the line when it's on tv and I'm just really bored,
but aside from that, it hasn't grabbed my interest even slightly and I'm not sure why.
Of course, I never watched the animated series way back when, so that might be part of it.
Seems like something I'd like, which is why I'm finding it so weird that I have no interest in it.
Am I broken?

I think I watched the cartoon a little bit but don't really remember much from it, but I have no interest in seeing this movie. Looks stupid. |

I didn't have any interest in it, but since it is the only thing coming out this week I was going to see it.
However, it has been getting bad reviews so I think I might pass. |

I thought it was funny to read that review. I liked the cartoon back in the day. The movie just kinda looks bland. I go to the movies for stuff like Iron Man. I'll see this but when it hits netflix. |

I have zero interest in Iron Man. I have some interest in Speed Racer only because I read in one of the Automotive mags that they actually built a Mach 5 for the movie, and the thing does 0-100 in 1.19 seconds, which is fudging ridiculous. |

Yeah I knew they built one but damn that's pretty sick. It's a fast bastard. Still though, just because the car's fast doesn't mean it'll be good movie.
Besides in Modern War they said they really built an Iron Man suit and there's a nuke in the right arm that could level 15 Super Wal-Marts. Wanna see it now? |

I watched the show a ton back when I was a little tike at my grandparents house one summer. But judging from the trailer, the movie looks incredibly lame. Almost seems like a joke trailer actually (albeit a very professionally done one). |

I have absolutely no interest in seeing this, but my son does. He says he wants to see the F-Zero movie.

I don't know about them even building a Mach 5. The star was on Letterman last week, and claimed he never even got in a car at all for filming. He was on a chair on a crane, and they shook him around on it, and it was all green screened in later.

i didn't expect anything, went because i was at my grandparents visiting and they went to bed and dont have tv. I know nothing of the cartoon, but i gotta say, i dug the movie. The story was interesting enough, charecters were cool and i thought the visuals worked. Great popcorn movie. |
