Movies you love, but hate to tell anyone...until now.
Keeping The Faith - Very funny, and Ed Norton is the king.
The Illusionist - Paul Giamatti is great, and again, Ed Norton is king.
Devils Advocate - I really hate Keanu, but Pacino is great in this.
Bio-Dome - It still makes me laugh to this day.
Tristan and Isolde - Thought I would hate it, but turned out pretty entertaining.
Almost anything with Leonardo DiCaprio. Except Titanic. Just drown already... knighthawk #2 posted October 19, 2009 at 8:45am (EST)
whats so shameful about the Illusionist? i think is was a great movie. great acting in it too. better than The Prestige with (Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale) which also came out around the same time.
still haven't seen Tristan and Isolde though i have the movie. i think the Leo-hate has subsided. it's actually become cool to like Leo ever since The Departed.
as for me... probably old school movies like White Christmas, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Sound of Music. yes all musicals i know, but stuff like that.

The Prestige beats the illusionist any day of the week Gonchi #4 posted October 19, 2009 at 6:43pm (EST)
Cutthroat Island, Johnny Mnemonic, Lightning Jack, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, My Science Project...

I was wondering who would be the first to correct him.
and why would anyone feel guilty watching any of the Mad Max films?
Jeffro #6 posted October 19, 2009 at 9:13pm (EST)
and DiCaprio has been great since This Boy's Life. Everyone seems to forget that even Daniel Day-Lewis had his own sell-out jerk fest in The Last of the Mohicans.

Shaving Ryan's Privates..... I mean Saving Private Ryan.....

I do like the illusionist as noted, but still feel The Prestige is a better film. DrizzDrizzDrizz #9 posted October 20, 2009 at 7:12am (EST)
Mean Girls....although I've never shied away from admitting that! For what it is, it's awesome....and I defy you to correct me!
cant think of any others for now....but I will

I'm ashamed to admit I saw Titanic in theaters at least 5 times and still enjoy the movie every so often. It's been a long while though...
I actually like most of the stuff DiCaprio has done now that I think about it.

he usually picks good roles, I think. I also like most of his stuff. I loved The Beach, even though that seems to get a lot of crap. Basketball Diaries was amazing, and I thought DiCaprio was great in it...but the basketball parts, just didn't work. I just couldn't get over the discrepancy between how good DiCaprio's character was in the story, and how much worse DiCaprio actually was lol...but great film other than that
Smile Now Cry Later Chadical #16 posted October 23, 2009 at 10:06am (EST)
I loved The Beach. Thought it was a great movie. Especially the video game scene.
sinnie #17 posted October 23, 2009 at 10:20am (EST)
I also loved The Beach! The video game part was odd, but guess it was insanity!

The Beach was a good idea poorly executed.
Boyle's still MY MAIN MAN though. DrizzDrizzDrizz #19 posted October 24, 2009 at 6:24am (EST)

I guess Mean Girls but I don't know anyone who would consider it a guilty pleasure. Lots of people love that movie.

The Return of Swamp Thing-too many childhood memories to hate this one, but it's soooo cheesy
Starship Troopers-Cheesy with a cliche storyline and I somehow still like it
Star Wars, Lord of the Rings or Star Trek-I never like telling chicks I like these movies
Love, Actually-Chick flick....'nuff said.

The Wedding Singer for me. Everyone says they hate it, but it never fails to make me laugh. I also like DiCaprio, and I've enjoyed nearly all his movies since Titanic.
And I still watch classic Disney. Aside from seeming much shorter, they're still just as awesome as when I was little.
DrizzDrizzDrizz #40 posted November 21, 2009 at 2:22pm (EST)
i've never met a person who said they hated the wedding singer. get away from all that negativity!
