So I was wondering what is your favorite band? |

Mine would be System of a Down. I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but I developed all my music taste based on their randomness.

I'd say Zeppelin, but similarly to RDTZ, I listen to them less now than I did. I've been slowly branching my musical taste from them. My music is now a bit more of a web, but it mostly started with Led Zeppelin, breaking off into folk rock, blues rock, and hard rock. It's now slowly making its way into actual blues. |

My favorite would have to be either Journey or Huey Lewis and the News. My favorite that made one album and quit would be the New Radicals. |

I enjoyed it myself, definitely different from the system but I thought it was a nice change of pace for him.
Looking forward to Scars on Broadway's project.

I liked it too, but I thought the songs sounded a bit too similar to each other (although there are a few tracks I love). I'm hoping for more from Scars myself...

If you dig blues rock, check out The Black Keys, a fantastic duo from Akron Ohio. They are one of my favorite bands out there right now.

If anyone here is into folk/americana/etc (like Jonny Cash, etc), go to Myspace and look up Row Craven. I knew he was getting into the music scene in Nashville, but he's progressed much, much further than I had imagined.
EDIT - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=us... I'd check out Lined with Lillies first and then Curtains.

What little I've heard of Gogol Bordello is pretty awesome. "Fudge Globally" is a great song.

Best live show i think ive seen. There encore went on for a good hour after they had been on for over an hour. They just kept going, most members of the band ended up in the crowd.
