If you could 'create' a band, with anyone in the world (living or dead), who would it be?
My "dream band" would be
Guitar:
Buckethead
This guy (I have no idea who he is, but he shreds like a jerk)
Bass:
Cliff Burton
Drums:
Keith Moon
Vocals:
Philip Labonte

I've actually thought about this before, but have never been able to come up with an answer. There are too many questions. What type of band would I want? Would I stress about variety, or try to focus on one genre? Would songwriting be important? Will some of my favorites on each instrument actually have a chance of meshing well together? Is Chemistry important?
I sometimes decide that Zeppelin would be my dream band, other times the Who would be. Sometimes I'd mix and match, but always wonder if the styles would be able to match.
Basically I'd say my dream band would be any combination of the following:
Pete Townshend
Roger Daltry
John Entwistle
Keith Moon
John Bonham
John Paul Jones
Jimmy Page
Robert Plant
Freddie Mercury
Brian May
Eric Clapton
Jack Bruce
Bobby Whitlock (Keyboard/organ/vocals-I mostly picked him for the back up vocals he did with Derek & the Dominos)
Ginger Baker
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Duane Allman
Iggy Pop
George Thorogood
Carlos Santana
Bob Dylan (mostly for song writing)
Roger Waters
and probably more, but I've already listed waaaay too many
