I'm getting in an SATA hard drive and I already have 2 IDE hard drives installed. How do I go about installing windows xp on the sata drive (making it c: drive) while still have the 2 IDE drives that are going to be used as storage drives? I have a SATA connection on my mobo to install it and i can go into my bios to enable the SATA controller (which is disabled right now). I'm familiar with IDE's not SATA, that's why I'm asking.

SATA is the same thing, it's just a different type of port that connects to your computer. You should be able to install it the same way as you did with your IDE's.
