I'm getting in an SATA hard drive and I already have 2 IDE hard drives installed. How do I go about installing windows xp on the sata drive (making it c: drive) while still have the 2 IDE drives that are going to be used as storage drives? I have a SATA connection on my mobo to install it and i can go into my bios to enable the SATA controller (which is disabled right now). I'm familiar with IDE's not SATA, that's why I'm asking. |

SATA is the same thing, it's just a different type of port that connects to your computer. You should be able to install it the same way as you did with your IDE's. |
