I don't believe so, they are non-wireless. The new one has a scroll wheel and the old one does not. Can sell the old one for $2 the new one for a little more. |

I want a wired mouse anyway. What I want to know is whether they are optical (do they have a ball underneath or is it laser) and whether if they are USB. |

Ok. Both are non-laser and have the ball underneath. They are not USB. |

Darn...I needed a mouse. Because without USB, it won't hook up on my laptop. Thanks for the information though. |
