How much longer are you gonna let Chad and Kanes_Son be abusive and
insulting to the GTZ community ?
They have both been here for 5+ years, and I have not been here for that entire time, but
I have been here for almost 2 years of it, and we ALL know what kind of crap they have said about me
during that time. I bet you can also find many examples of them giving other members a hard time as well.
They make a habit of going from post to post causing trouble. You can argue about this all you want, but
I think most of us would agree it is true.
I know some peoples response to this is going to be, "I need to chill out".
I got news for those people, Life is NOT one joke after another. Some jokes can be taken too far, and
the before mentioned pair do that quite often.
I know I could "lighten up" myself, and I recognize that as a character flaw, but constantly doging at me
about it is not going to help.
I am tired of being quiet about this behavior. It makes me sick to see this being done to friendly and just
over-all good members of this site.
bill, something needs to be done NOW !!!!!
And I don't mean a "slap on the hand", or a stern e-mail. I'm sure that has been done before, but
it is clear that they don't respect your authority, and they feel like they own the site and can do whatever
they please.
Step up to the plate PLEASE.....and take action !!!!

Pretty sure most people aren't as dense as you and can tell when I (or Zogg) am joking. You are just pissy that I don't like you. Anyways, I dont have a problem with Chad, in most cases he actually provides useful information in topics that arent stupid topics (which most topics are stupid, so you cant blame someone for acting stupid in a stupid thread, because thats just stupid). |

What do you mean some of those you had nothing to do with? Are you refuting typing my name, attacking me, doging about me, without me saying crap about you? Those are just under the name "chad", I didn't search for you writing about me in other forms (using other usernames i have used or trying to reference me by some vague form).
You go out of your way to fudge with me and then whine when I reciprocate. Seriously though, I don't have a problem with you. In fact I think most of the time you are either funny or sincerely contribute to a thread (like my recent thread on the new 9/11 tape, with your talking about the planes speed etc.). At times you make jokes on something serious, which is good at times I can agree, but it's seems while some users that takes things too seriously a lot of the time, you can seem to take things not seriously enough at times.

Chad, in my relatively short time at GTZ so far I haven't had a run-in with you, and I don't really have a problem with your existence like I do with m. But I think the worst thing you can do for yourself now is PROVE to everyone that bob's claims are TRUE, which is what you're really doing with all this fierce invective.

Thing is, it doesn't matter if bob1968's claims are true or not, they don't matter. Current mentality is "live and let live" here. We have had our fair share of whiners on this site (ataribob, dyne, etc) but eventually they mellow out.
To steal some thunder the "official" response will be something like this:
1) Chad can be rude sometimes
2) You have thin skin
3) There is a filter option for a reason
4) We don't want to see you leave
5) Similarly we don't want to see Chad leave.

My point of view on stuff like this is that I want people to work their own (social) problems out. I don't want to play daddy or referee. I have better things to do.
You two seem to me working it out in this topic. I think that's great. Find some way to co-exist. Don't make it my problem. |

You know, you run into people in your life all the time who you dont like and who doesnt like you. Who do you run to when that happens? Oh Mr. Bush, please give this guy a death sentence or kick him from the country because he's upsetting "some" people. You must do this because you run the country. I feel that it's wrong for you to take it out on Bill, no matter how piss you are. Using the same example, Bill runs the site, he has more things to do than taking care of people grudge toward each other. Do you know how many of those cases he will get if he does pick it up? Although you're right, it's HIS site, and apparently he doesnt want to be part of it, so deal with this crap yourself, dont threaten him.
Now to the topic at hand, Chad on his side provided some topic, please post yours to show where he was hostile toward you. And while you're at it, please get those people who Chad supposedly "hurt" to come support you here, because so far, you're fighting a one man battle.

The bottom line is that this is a game trading website. You can't let things get to you on message boards here. Don't make the comments a big part of your life. If the comments made ARE a big part of your life, then maybe it's time to venture out and meet some new people or find a new hobby. Bob, like bones said, in life you're gonna run into people you don't get along with. It happens. How you deal with it ultimately shows your character.
If someone makes a comment you don't like or makes you angry, just let it go. Don't make a big deal about it.
Oh, and don't make rude comments to someone who has successfully run this site for what now, 10 years? Think before you talk a bit more. |
