I think Bill should make a corner sided of the message bar where you can delete the messages you made with another user.
Also a blocking users would be a great thing since there are a lot of immature and rude traders on here. |

Subscribers have the option to filter people. |

If you're talking about private messages, I think that the issue was brought up before, and laid to rest as well.

Just don't worry about deleting PMs. There's no need for it and you're better off having the history in case you want to refer back to it.
Deleting would be tricky because PMs are grouped into shared conversations...

Deleting PM's would serve no point. I mean the only way to even see them is by going to the pm screen, opening your messages with that user and reading em. It's hardly something that your going to see unless you are looking for and its only visible by mods which is a benefit to you in case you need em for proof down the road.
Also like mmm40x and bill said subscribers can filter people they don't like or who are bad traders. |

I don't know if it's been brought up before, but would it be difficult to implement folders or something where you could store messages you have no use for (but may possibly want to refer back to at some point)? The clutter bothers me.

Again, the trouble is that they aren't messages, but conversations with another trader. If you moved a conversation to a folder, then the other trader added a message to the conversation, then what? This is one of the issue with deleting. Deleting implies other things that are kind of icky (e,g, having "closed" conversations, maybe have them close automatically, etc.).
There's a kind of pure simplicity to the current PM system. Dig. |
