I just completed a trade and the guy gave me a poor rating for waiting 3 days to ship. He is a noob but come on thats not fair. Plus he gave me a good rating on courtesy. Bill can I not find justice for this? This is very unfair ratings. |

He wouldn't like the people on here that only ship on certain days of the week...Bad new trader I guess.

The other trade sent first. His package arrived on April 17, 2008.
You sent on 23-Apr-2008, 6 days later. (not 3 days later - how did you figure 3?).
6 days is kind of slow, but "poor" for speed seems overly harsh. |

No, but seriously, you came in here complaining about how the rating was "very unfair" and that you wanted to find "justice." It just isn't that big of a deal that you need to "find justice" and, to be honest, the rating was clearly NOT "very unfair." You waited almost a week to ship after receiving from him. You seem to be taking advantage of the fact that he is a newbie -- you made him ship first, then waited almost a week -- and now feel that, because you have been here longer, his rating shouldn't count.
Sorry, but I just don't see it.
And, again, if you had come in here and nicely went "You know, I realize that 6 days was too long on this -- but I was really busy and got it out to the guy as soon as I could -- what can I do about the rating?" -- THEN I might have felt some sympathy for you (and suggested that you talk with him NICELY and see if he might change it). But, that isn't what you did. You came in and gave incorrect information about how long you had waited. Then Bill called you on it -- and then you CONTINUED to try to push the issue that you still wanted it changed. Without ANY "Oh, I guess 6 days was a long time" sort of response.
So, it was your attitude in this whole thing that came off wrong to me. You don't seem to feel bad at all that you took almost a week to ship. You just feel bad that you got rated poorly for it.

I give the other person a week to ship. I understand they may not have time to get out until like Sat. so I cut em some slack and expect the same in return.

I think the longer people are here the more relaxed they become about these things. Of course, there are always exceptions. |

I recently looked back at my earlier trades and requested a rating change cause I was obviously being a tightwad.

I usually give people excellent ratings across the board. There are very few trades where I felt they deserve the lower rating. If you say you will send one day and then don't send for a month, then you will get a bad rating from me. |
