Just random question ... anyone know where he went?
He pended a buy trade from me 2 weeks ago, and I haven't heard a thing from him in a week and a half. He hasn't signed on in a week, and he has 22 open trades. I know he has the occasional issue medically (or so I think?), but I'm curious if anyone has heard from him. I'm not out anything, I don't send until he does, but I'm hoping no one else would be, and I seriously wouldn't want to think he'd mess with his good rep!

The star downgrades as the days go by without the user signing on. Actually framerguy has been downgraded to a  at this point. |

yeah i made a trade with him on the 30th of july sent my end of the trade, but have heard nothing back, or got my end either. hope everythings ok. |

His trade message to me on July 30th:
"I found out monday that i'm going to be operated opn thursday. Well it all depends if he can do it Arthoscopic or if he has to cut me open. If it's the first one then i'm only going to be in the hosipital a few day's or the second one then it's a week. So if you want to wait that's cool if not i have not used your GC or even put it in the system. So if you don't want to wait that cool to. I completely understand as there were other people interested in it. But i'm looking at least 2 week before i might beable to get around. It's up to you. Thanks Mike Sorry about this i didn't realize it was going to be so soon."

thanks for the imput,
i would think he woulda mentioned this to all the people he was trading with unless this was a last minute thing then i could see why he might not have. |

He said a couple weeks, and it hasn't even been that yet. I've traded with him before and didn't have a problem, so I'm not worried. |

He was sick once before, and was way behind on sending. Once he was better he took care of everything immediately. I would not worry much about this.

... and that's what I'm thinking too. I did cancel my trade, yes, but it's because I didn't want to wait, not because I didn't think he'd come through. He will, God willing, be alright and back soon.

I hope everything went well for him.
Operations are crazy; I went in once for a pain in the side, which we self-diagnosed to be appendicitis. Lo and behold it was, and I went into the operating room on the very same day. Spent about a week in a hospital bed, and then spent the next one and a half weeks feeling weak and miserable.

A week in the hospital bed? WOW. Did it rupture? When I had appendicitis, it was incredibly inflamed to the point that the surgeon told me if the doctors prodded around any more, it would've ruptured. But, they took me in on a Sunday morning, and by Monday afternoon, I was home. I stayed out of school for two weeks though (partially because I could), and overall had a real crapty time. Cutting on your stomach is not a fun thing to go through...

mine was taken out monday morning and they were going to let me go home like tuesday afternoon but i threw up right before the doc came for the final check-up on me so they thought something might be going on so they made me stay an extra 2 days.

Well, not exactly a week; I got ahead of myself. I went to work on Monday and Tuesday, before finally deciding to head into ER. I checked out on Saturday. I think it ruptured when I was either in the waiting room (spent like an hour waiting), or when they kept pushing my side, saying that it was a "textbook case of appendicitis." After the surgery the doc told me it had been very perforated/punctured.

you know it might not be a bad idea if there was a field in the subscriber options page to leave your phone number if you choose to.just in the event that it might ever be needed.

I know things happen, but if he was going to be going in to have surgery i dont understand why he didnt make it aware to all the people he was making trades with. |

I don't have his number. I don't have any more info than people he has trades with.
I was hoping he'd have come back to the site by now. So, either something went horribly wrong or just recovery is going really slowly.
He's actually gotten BTRs in the past when he was sick for weeks and had a bunch of trades still hanging. So, this isn't that unusual for him.
I agree, he should have resolved his trades better, or at least informed people better.
But, surgery is a big deal, so maybe he just didn't deal all that well because he was freaked out or hoping he could avoid it or whatever.
I'm still confident that he will come back and resolve everything, eventually. ...unless he's dead or something. |
