Hey bill
I might be just paranoid about this, but than again, there could be something going on here.
I just had a trade canceled by a new user who goes by the name Aooga12, but that's not the suspect part of this, that was no big deal....what seemed "fishy", was that I went back to make sure my game had showed back up on my list and that my matches had returned to what they were before.
Well, when I looked at the matches, another new user ( volkl511 ) showed up with the exact same matches...and that in of itself does not happen too often with me. So I started checking their bio pages, and what I saw was that they also live in the same city and state.
Now I know that this could also be possible, but once again, how often do we see that on GTZ ?
I suppose what I am hinting at here, is that this somewhat seems like a duplicate account to me.....I could be wrong, but it still might be worth checking out.
I actually hope I am wrong, because I hate too see people trying to abuse this site.

well judging from what you said they are probably the same person. i mean (maybe im reading into this) if you have VERY SPECIFIC wants and someone else had VERY SPECIFIC wants and your very specific matches you had with this first guy suddenly popped up on a brand new guy then theres definitely a possibility, especially if they are in the same city. im sure they would claim to be friends or brothers if confronted.

yeah, IP matches too... though, it may be a fairly innocent thing since there's not much other evidence of foul play.
For example, we've seen cases where someone new uses a fake name at first, then as they feel more comfortable they realize they want to use their real name, so they create a new account (or, the reverse... wanting to switch to a fake name because of privacy concerns, etc).

I exchanged some messages with Aooga12 about this. He says they are just 2 friends who are over each other's houses and had been playing Age of Conan, but got sick of it, so they were switching to Diablo, but then wanted it faster so just decided to buy it. |

People could probably say the same about the town about me, XD, Jerico and one other (I can't remember his name but anyway...) but were friends and I turned them onto the site even if they are all three morons... one even completed two trades... amazing compared to the other two... but they live in the same town as me and we are four different people. |
