hey,
found a minor issue with the listing for Buzz! Quiz Tv for PS3.
First off, if you search for it you'll find a listed with one 'wanted', no picture. If you try to add as 'wanted' you get the Name Resolution page, even though it's in the system (I found a similar issue a month or two ago and notifying the proper authorities seemed the appropriate thing to do, grin).
If you need to link it up with Amazon the listing is here:

It's likely the Name Tribunal hasn't ever actually approved it. There are quite a few items in the system that aren't "approved titles".

It's not released yet. This is a fairly normal situation. We tend to approve a title after more than a couple people list it.
I approved it for you early this time. |

yea, i first noticed it on metacritic with a release date of july 1, but that turned out to be the EU release. But it turns out the American release is only a few weeks away, and plenty of other games seemed to be in the system well ahead of that so i wasn't sure.
thanks! |

Simply because there are listings in the system does not mean it was "Approved." If there's only 1-2, it is likely that those were submitted via the Name Resolution page as well. People will keep seeing that page until we finally mark the title "approved," but the system allows those listings to stand as-is in the mean time.

Bill, I will use this opportunity to ask you something that I have been meaning to ask for awhile. I would be happy to help out with the Name Tribunal and adding some of these names and merging some of the others that I have seen duplicates of. I know most of the people on the NT have a lot going on, but lately I have been surfing around the site a lot anyway, so I thought my wasted time could be put to good use.

Thanks for the offer.
We're generally hesitant to add more people to the NT. The group we have now is down to just the grizzled veterans. We kind of like it that way We've had other people on the team in the past, and some of the work that was done was not as good as we'd hoped. So, we're cautious now. The NT tools can do a lot of damage. They are pretty complicated too and not well documented, etc. |
