Generally, I'd check to see how he described the game... the condition and such. But, it looks like the stuff in the trade may have been typed in by hand, so maybe it was never said. Even so, there's just a common sense expectation of a buyer that anything majorly messed up about the game needs to be mentioned in advance by the seller. So, you have a case (unless he did mention it, but you failed to read it somehow). How you deal with it us up to you. If you find the game unacceptable, then you could even go so far as to demand he pay shipping to send it back to him. Some traders will do that, as a matter of principle. Others, will just shrug it off especially if the game is notthing too important or valuable and just give a bad rating. Taking a buck or two off the price seems like a reasonable compromise to me. Shipping back is always kind of waste of money. You really should tag his rating, though. |
