Cool. I'm glad you're back.
...but, yeah, I made a little effort with the Twitter and Facebook pages for GameTZ this week. I'm a little unsure about the whole thing, but I'm trying. |

What you've been doing on Twitter is like having the best GTZ RSS feed ever. It's pointed me to topics I otherwise wouldn't have seen.

Shortly after I posted that, we got an email from The_Crow saying he was in the hospital on a respiratory because of H1N1. He was asking us to contact one of his pendings to explain why he hasn't been able to send his side of the trade or respond to his messages. He said he's just able to email via a mobile device for now. It sounds like he's really sick.  ...but, he's still making an effort to stay in touch with his pendings. |

I proudly do not have a twitter account. I do not want to tweet or any of that crap.
Though I'm sure it's awesome.  Keep up the good work bill. Don't get swine flu from The_Crow.

You may want to consider it for your store. I set up some social networking/advertising for a local game shop and they got about 1 in every 5-6 people come in because of the daily/weekly deals posted on Twitter which became repeat customers.
It's free and it's cheap advertising. I set up everything on his iPhone so he doesn't even have to post in multiple sites just the one and it gets posted to the stores Facebook, Twitter, and a few other sites including the store's blog.

Yeah my friend Shaun does social networking for a living (sets up accounts for celebrities and things like that via his job). He keeps telling me it's the way to go, and maybe I'll fold for the store some day. I'll just never have a personal account by any means.

I agree, twitter is ridiculous for personal use. Frank because you said you would never have a personal account, I feel obliged to punch you so hard in the dick if you EVERRRRRRR make a personal twitter account. Advertising, fine I can go for that, but for personal use, I just don't get it. |

I like getting the Twitter GTZ updates on my phone. It was especially nice to see that the site was down before I even went to the computer. |
