I know I have mentioned this before, but I would like not to have to use HTML when I am not able to use mIRC.
I have tried it on both 32 bit and 64 bit, using firefox 2.5 and 3.5, even IE newest one, and every version of java I could find that was compatible with no luck at all.
Maybe I could find better things to do between classes, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem (maybe a fix as well?).

Any particular error message?
Are you saying mIRC does work, but Java doesn't? |

Yeah same error message every time.
Edit: Here is one of IE.
mIRC works at home, but I would like to access chat on my schools network I have a few hours between classes each day so time to kill.
HTML works but it sucks and doesn't fit with my netbooks resolution to well.

This is the same error you had before, right?
Actually, I just had a thought about what it could be. That string "8D0Z0C" is really odd. Then, it occurred to me that it's probably from your customized color scheme. That "Z" is bad. It has to be hexidecimal (0-9 A-F). Any letter beyond F is not acceptable.
So, I just signed on as you and found that 8D0Z0C in your color scheme... the red color. I changed it to 8D0D0C, which looks about the same.
Try chat now, I bet it will work. |

That's either very clever, or very ironic. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it's the former...
Edit: And then I go ahead and make a typo.
