My Wii cannot read the disc. I've gotta send my Wii to Nintendo for a good cleaning. Am I the only one around here who has had this problem?

It sucks. Nintendo is paying for everything, but I've gotta pack it up and send it, and I'll have to wait up to 7 business days. They say that Nintendo needs to clean my Wii's lens in order for it to read Smash Bros. because it's on a new dual-layer disc.

That sucks, yeah. But what's important is that they are fixing the problem for you on their dime.

Just as you mentioned Zane, I've heard that the issue is due to it being one of the first of the new dual layer discs.

I had heard it too, but I thought a firmware update solved it. I have a first gen wii, and I didn't have a problem.
