I have a extra guitar that I'm considering selling through eBay. Since I typically just offer free shipping and let the price work itself out rather than getting exact quotes, what did it cost you to ship it? Thanks. |

Why not just take it to a UPS Store and ask them for costs?

That's what I'd rather not have to do If it's reasonable, I won't specify a shipping cost and just list with free shipping to the continental US. |

I've shipped like four guitars in the past few months. Cost varies with size and shape of the box, along with weight. A typical electric guitar guitar in a rectangular box will probably run you between $15 and $20. The last guitar I shipped went out in a makeshift box that basically made by taping a lot of cardboard together... it worked well, but since it was irregularly shaped it cost closer to $30.
What are thinking about selling?

I was thinking about selling my Little Martin. Sounds good, should be even cheaper since it's a 3/4th size. Great little guitar btw, but I figure there's no point in keeping it if I never take it out of my bedroom. |

I want one of those Little Martin's.
Next gear I gotta buy, though, is a portable PA system again and some computer based recording gadget.
