OK it was fun in chat. Let's see what we can do with the ever-so-useful trout here. Do whatever you want to the trout but make it involve the trout. Good luck.

I had some nifty AND delicous salmon today. Wild caught in Alaska Biotch.

I'd toss a by-my-hand-tied size 6 or 4 (barbless hook) weighted olive grizzly woolly bugger or sculpin into some ambling deep water with some boulders kicking around. After landing the MONSTER I'd thank it, make sure my hands were wet, and carefully release it.

Then again, if it wasn't a catch and release stream/river all bets are off as to how fast that sucker would hit the frying pan *wink*

/me goes back to the lake where bassgrabber cought the monster fish. calls aquaman to use his fish powers. then he picks up the fish and uses it to slap the crap out of ragingshadow. though it only took 3 slaps because of the enormous sizke of the fish. then /me goes to the lake and releases the fish back into the water.

problem with posting the image, too, I see... haha!

/me goes and catches another GYnormous trout, by tickling it's belly this time... guts it, and then proceed to smack the heck outta wrxguy05 with it... just cuz! Now that it's properly tenderized I cut off the head and fins, rinse well... stuff it with a sprig of fresh dill, a few slices of garlic, a thin lemon wedge, and a pat of butter... wrap in foil (2 layers) and bake in hot coals for about an hour. DELISH!
