How do I make a DVD on a macintosh that can be used on a pc? I just want to burn select files on it, not an iso image.

You can use Toast to do it.

As it turns out, DVDs burned on a mac now will also work on a pc. (Talking about the standard burning feature through the os.)

Yes, though you have to make sure the files themselves can be read by PC programs. Shouldn't be a problem with most graphics files, audio files, and video files, though there are some formats which are hard to read on a PC.

Macs handle all (that I know of) CD&DVD specifications. So the Mac should be able to read the disk. Now if your question is "will my program run under Mac", then it depends on if it was designed for Mac or if you're running a compatibility layer (like DarWine).
