Anyone know where to get Half-Life for the mac? It doesn't even seem to exist, but I know I saw my roommate playing it on his iBook...Even if i did find it, would I even be able to play Counter-Strike?

You can play Half Life 2 on an intel based mac using Bootcamp or other similiar software. BUT your mac then turns into a windows machine and is vulnerable to viruses and spyware so make sure it's worth the risk for you. If you own a Nintendo Wii you can also use the remote as a mouse to play games and just browse around windows.

Installing Windows to dual boot runs no more risk of hurting your computer than using windows on any other machine. Also, the viruses which affect windows, even if they do get on your machine, will not affect OS X, so you don't have to worry about that.

I plan on buying Half Life 2 Orange Box set for Xbox 360 this holiday season. Valve games are the only thing holding me back from a complete switch over to Mac.
