Sad to say, I didn't get any Apple gear for Christmas this year... for personal use, at least. For my business I got Final Cut Studio, Photoshop CS2, Dreamweaver 8, iWork and a new Aja Kona LH High-Def capture card with a 1.25 TB SATA array.

What did you guys get?

Oh, and on a side note, iWork seems to be a real let down. For some reason I thought iWork was Apple's answer to MS Office, and would have a Word-like and Excel-like program. There's no spreadsheet app at all, and the text editor seems so far to be a fraction of MS Word. Waste of $79, so far. *frown*

Yeah, no spreadsheet program yet. Hopefully this year, though.

Pages leans more toward the desktop publishing angle than the word processing angle, and it's quite different for people used to Word.

I got a Kensington iPod FM Radio Transmitter and I love it! This is one of the best things I've had for my iPod period. I highly recommend picking one up.

Yeah, this is definitely my fault for assuming I knew what I was getting rather than reading up first. I rarely make that mistake, but I would have sworn that iWork had spreadsheet and word processor apps. I'm sure Pages does what it does very well, but I happen to have no use for it. Oh well, live and learn.
