Sad to say, I didn't get any Apple gear for Christmas this year... for personal use, at least. For my business I got Final Cut Studio, Photoshop CS2, Dreamweaver 8, iWork and a new Aja Kona LH High-Def capture card with a 1.25 TB SATA array.
What did you guys get?
Oh, and on a side note, iWork seems to be a real let down. For some reason I thought iWork was Apple's answer to MS Office, and would have a Word-like and Excel-like program. There's no spreadsheet app at all, and the text editor seems so far to be a fraction of MS Word. Waste of $79, so far. | nihon

Yeah, no spreadsheet program yet. Hopefully this year, though.
Pages leans more toward the desktop publishing angle than the word processing angle, and it's quite different for people used to Word.

I got a Kensington iPod FM Radio Transmitter and I love it! This is one of the best things I've had for my iPod period. I highly recommend picking one up. | savior

Yeah, this is definitely my fault for assuming I knew what I was getting rather than reading up first. I rarely make that mistake, but I would have sworn that iWork had spreadsheet and word processor apps. I'm sure Pages does what it does very well, but I happen to have no use for it. Oh well, live and learn. |
