I could help out new users too, considering I just recently went through the new user experience. I also just enjoy helping people and hope to be a contributing member of the site. |

While there is no doubt that HerefordSoccer wants to be a helpful member of our site, he still has the  icon attached to his name. RULost119 is a much more viable member to ask for help for now.

I've helped some new members. I'm sure several that aren't official mentors have done that. I've traded with new members with very low numbers of trades and allowed to send at the same time as long as they at least got me a DC number first. It was possible they just put an empty DVD case in an envelope, but I'd research and talk with them a little first. |

Hereford seems like he knows what he's doing, he never had any questions for me, but did at least follow the instructions that I gave him with the welcoming message for successful trading, so he should have should have the answers to helping newer users to this site, at least as far as trading goes.

Yep, I seemed to start to figure things out on my own, just by exploring the site and using my common sense, etc. Nevertheless, I appreciate your help pugmagician and just to reiterate the main point of this thread, a tip to new users, always ask for a Mentor first if you have any questions at all, I know pug could have answered any questions I had as he seemed very knowledgeable and like he's been around the block once or twice. |
