I watch Sprint cup racing
Personally im not to picky...I dont care much for the Toyotas in Nascar so now I will pull for a Dodge or Ford if it is them or a Toyota but my favorite would still be Chevy...It what I grew up building so go figure it is what I prefer....Favorite driver would be Gordon or Jr...
Keep in mind everyone has their own opinion and I dont care if you think Gordon is a jerk or a prick he is still a good driver who wins races

I am for the most part a Jr. fan...he is my favorite...but I do sometimes cheer for other drivers like Jeff Burton, Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, and Kasey Kahne.
I say this jokingly, but I bet Gordon is happy that he is no longer the most booed driver....LOL....Kyle Busch has taken that away from him.
I admit the kid has driving talent, but I just dislike his attitude....especially when he disregards the fans (saying they don't matter)....he needs to realize that they pay good money for their tickets, and although they are not the only ones supporting racing (larger part coming from sponsors), they still help keep the sport alive.
And I am convinced he deliberately wrecked Jr. I think he knew that was the only way he was going to beat him.

Looks like we may have another member, so to speak.
Mackey is showing interest....although we probably will not see him in the discussion forums, he has shared with me his desire to be part of the Fantasy NASCAR league later on.

well im retarded when it comes to fantasy league so you would have to explain it well...I would read up on it but from what ive heard rules may vary

Yeah, there is no "set way" of running one, the rules and structure can vary.
I have come up with a format that I think will work, once I do some more fine tunning of it, I will probably share it in the NASCAR forum, and you guys can help me with any other details that may need to be worked out. | soundtech

Well...I had a most unpleasant experience in chat...remind to never go there again.
Full of hormone driven punks who want to do nothing but call each other names, and pick fights with you if you say anything....maybe I'm getting too old, or more mature....who knows.
But anyways, it did get me to thinking......mmmmmm
Maybe we should have sometime (day or night) that we set aside to discuss NASCAR or any other stuff in chat.

I got home early from the Pow Wow, so I got a chance to watch the race, and Thank God I did !!!!!
cuz Dale Jr. WON !!!!!!!!! HELL YES !!!!!!!!!!
That may even put him on the top of the points chart....but will not know that until tomorrow.
HELL YEAH !!!!!  That just made my day !!!!!!!!

I have been a NASCAR fan since the first Darlington race of 1990 when my father took me to a race for the first time. I picked Mark Martin as my driver that day, without knowing anything about points or winning history or anything like that. I have been a Mark fan ever since.
When it got obvious that Mark was getting close to retirement, I started looking for another driver to pull for after he retired. When I heard he was mentoring Matt Kenseth, I started following Kenseth and was behind him for several years.
When the whole Roush/Mark debacle went down, I couldn't bring myself to pull for a Roush car anymore, even though I still like Matt as a person. I felt like Roush kind of betrayed Mark. So when Mark went to Ginn Motorsports, I went with him. At the same time... I had really started to gain respect over the years for a driver I had hated before... Dale Earnhardt, Jr. I had felt that too much had been given to him... that the only reason he was popular was because of who his daddy was... and of course, I had been a Roush loyalist, so the fact he drove a Chevy hurt him too. But I started respecting him more and more when like after a wreck, he would get out of the car and basically say it was his fault and was bone-headed and apologize, instead of whine that he was taken out like so many other drivers would (*coughkylebuschcough*). And the more I started respecting him, the more I started liking him and noticing how he was like Mark in a lot of ways. So I decided that I could get behind someone like Jr., and now I am a huge Dale Jr. fan.
It felt awesome yesterday to see him win. I was literally on the edge of my seat the last 15 or so laps. That is the first time I have felt like that in years. Here is hoping for many more!

I've been a Jeff Gordon/Hendrick fan for a long time so Jeff and his bi-product Jimmie Johnson are my faves. I also like Dale Jr, Carl Edwards, Kasey Kahne and Greg Biffle.
and I like and remember a lot of the older guys, DJ, rusty, richard petty, mark martin etc.
and of course. #3. Lord rest his soul.
didnt know you guys had this board going just found it should be an interesting run out the rest of the chase.

Mark Martin is great always happy and nice even if he gets taken out he is just like oh well it happens I can't member the race but it was last year (if membery serves me Daytona) and it was a race he never won and he lost by like 1/2 a car  really wanted to see him pull it out

Yeah, tonymack, I've had this open for awhile, but like you said, sometimes hard to find.
and next year we will be starting a NASCAR Fantasy League, so please join us on that....the more we get involved in that, the bigger the prize money will be, and bill is throwing in 2 months of Sub-Time to the Championship winner.
I think I will post a invite post in General right now....and see if that helps.
