my short game review
New Super mario bros was the first game i owned.
Right when i first started playing the game i knew that this game is the greatest NES.
Graphics: For its time it was great. It still is today. spawing ever growing mario games
Gameplay: This game had me coming for more. Every move every enemy, every jump made my heart stop
Sounds: Great sounds of beeps and bongs. Crushing your enemy, giving great thrills, when you hear the familar sound of getting a power up or when you crush a foe with a stomp
My conclusion: This game is great and threw out my expectations on gaming. If you havent tried out the game you should, I love old school | RULost

Super Mario Brothers
This game is a classic but doesn’t fail in being fun, even by today’s standards. It was created in 1985, and is still played by older and new generations. It’s a fictional type game having to do with plumbers trying to rescue a princess from an evil giant turtle and his henchmen. If you’re a beginner at this game then it might take an hour or more to beat the game, but if you’ve played the game before like I have, you can beat the game within a half hour. Even if you’ve beaten the game before there are still secrets and stuff to find that will make you want to keep replaying the game over and over until you find them all, or what you think is all of them.
I myself first played this game in 1989, when I was 8 years old. I have been playing video games since I was 3 years old, so this game was a piece of cake for me, even at that early age. As long as you can master the controller, which is simple enough with only 2 buttons plus the directional pad, you can easily play this game. I have seen and heard about people of all ages playing this game.
The graphics were state of the art for the time of Super Marios creation. Even though it’s a two dimensional pixel game, they used some of the graphics to make it look state of the art.
The music itself is a basic theme, but is quite catchy. People that have never played the game can recognize the music from it. If you play the game long enough you won’t be able to get the theme out of your head.
There’s a total of 8 levels, with 7 of the levels having 4 stages to it. The 8th level only has 3 stages to it. On the last stage of each level, that’s the boss level. If you can find some of the secrets you can avoid going through all 8 of the levels and just go through a couple of them. Just about every level has at least one or two secrets to it for you to figure out. Then when/if you beat the game the first time, you can restart it on any level you want, but it has a couple of changes to it. I haven’t had a chance to make it all the way through the second time to find out if you continue for a third time or not, but I intend on doing so some time.
Again, this is an easy game to play and is enjoyable for people of all ages. It’s an easy enough game to find at most stores, and on numerous platforms. So if you don’t have a regular Nintendo, but do have a Super Nintendo you can still play it. I don’t know for certain but I do believe that it’s also on other, newer Nintendo systems. There’s also newer variations on the Mario franchise. That way once you can beat the first one, there are more games in the series that you can play and get addicted to. Happy gaming to you, and I hope you enjoy this game, I know I have. | RULost

Games have came and gone. Some try to make it on the board as a true classic. Some are just plain thrash. Halo 3 is one of the games that will make it on the boards. With its ending in halo 2, fans have waited almost 3 years to see the ending of halo 3. It is finally here. The story mode is still quite fun and exciting. There are many improvements such as new weapons, new equipment, new vehicles and new enemies. The enemies this year is the most improving. With the improved A.I the enemies will make you run for your money. With every turn it’s a exciting ride from start to finish. Now we get to the exciting fun. With millions still playing halo 2 everyday over Xbox live halo 3 is a instant hit. With new maps and new modes, we have endless possibilities. Its is extremely fun and now with this year 4 people can do co-op over viva Xbox live. This year they included what is forge and theater mode. Forge is a editing mode. Its when u become god and edit anything in the map from weapons to vehicles. The theater mode lets u save films from your previous matches and edit and play back for your enjoyment. Whether it is to see how you got killed or how you suck someone from all the way across the map it is very rewarding and very enjoyable. Bottom line, the story is exactly what it should be. The multiplayer has the highest replay value I have ever seen. You would still be popping this game when your 80.only disappointment in halo 3 is the graphics haven’t improved much, although it can still fit a lot of enemies on the screen at once with all the bright and colorful visual effects, Halo 3 is a must buy for all 360 owners.

Sick of repetitive games like Bejeweld and Pong? Try one of the best games out there, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Instead of moving as boring paddle, you control a human boy named Link. You use you sword and a variety of weapons, such as grappling hooks, arrows, and bombs, to save a doomed land from the forces of evil. Zelda forces you to check all of your surroundings to move on to where you need to go, and this can be difficult. Everything you learned (or did not learn) in past videogames will be put to the test. It may be hard, but the experience will be incredible, and you'll never want to go back to Pong.
Most older games had a very simple objective - bounce a ball back and forth, blow up asteroids with a triangle, etc.. Games like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask actually have a storyline, which is simply the chain of events that take place in a game. They are mainly used to explain why you have to do things in games/how things happened. Ex: you fall into another dimension because you are trying to get back your horse and ocarina. That is part of Majora’s Mask’s storyline, and tells you why you ended up in Termina, because you were trying to get back your stuff. Storylines get you more into the game, and make the game more enjoyable. I mean, would you rather shoot random space rocks for no real reason or save a doomed land, with actual characters, interactive people and surroundings? Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask lets you journey to the four temples of Termina to awaken the four giants, the only ones who can stop the power of Majora’s Mask. You meet many different people along your journey, even other species of creatures, ones that aren’t other paddles.
Majora's Mask's gameplay is unlike many before it, and offers a new frontier to explore for those new to 3D gaming. You basically play as 4 different people, the small and wooden Deku Scrub, large and strong Goron, fast and water dwelling Zora, and, of course, young and courageous boy hero Link. Vast fields, huge, icy mountains, great big oceans, and more are part of Majora's Mask's game environment. That sounds more interesting than solid black, right?
Tired of the same annoying (not annoying at first, but once you hear them a lot…) midis in your videogames? Well, say goodbye to the cell phone ringtone, and hello to beautifully written music like The Legend of Zelda Theme, Termina Field Theme, and Goron Town. The music makes you feel like you are even more of a part of the game than before, like you are actually there fighting giant mechanical bulls, jungle warriors, or deadly fish.
Summarized:
Majora’s Mask Pong, Bejewled, Asteroids, etc…
Gameplay 5 2
Sound 5 2
Storyline 5 0
Environment 5 1
Fun 5 3
If you haven’t run out to buy Majora’s Mask and an N64 yet, what are you waiting for? | RULost

Survivor Video Game Review: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 X360
Futuristic warplay… new weapons…countless challenges wait… Ubisoft returns in a sequel to the 2006 hit video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter with
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.
This game packs a high level of serious gaming so for a new gamer it surely won’t disappoint. You play the role of Scott Mitchell a member of the “ghosts”. Conflict spreads throughout Mexico and it threatens to gap over to the U.S. You must stop this at once. In single-player mode, the first mission is very effortless to get through as it teaches you the basics of the game. Throughout the game you find yourself using a series of different tactics to outsmart the enemies, everything from sniping to stealth game-play. Of course this isn’t possible with the help of your team; along with three soldiers by your side there is aerial support as well as a heavily armored tank to disrupt the enemy. Each mission packs contrary objectives so not all challenges are on the battlefield. This game packs a heavy punch as enemies are everywhere from rooftops to crouching in the grass. Toward the end of the game you find yourself in a heated battle with the enemy that could end in defeat for your team or triumph. Multiplayer is one of the best experiences in GRAW 2, as you can play everything from Team Elimination to Co-op Objective, you won’t be able to put down the controller. I rank this game nine out of ten stars. It is a superb, mind-boggling game that will leave you breathless.
