Not to toot my own horn or anything but I feel I am the best driver on the planet. You have me on the other 8 though. How about smoking? You have the willpower to smoke 1 cig every 3 months! |
ChosenWarrior

Who would want to do that?? |

good reason felty, changed.
and you are a crapty driver. |

That crap doesnt make sense, "I have the will power to smoke" should be "I have the will power to smoke only sparingly". Mr. college educated man. |

people who quit smoking and never smoke again dont smoke because they dont have the will power. you lose. |

You can judge who loses you bastard, you just sided with yourself. People who quit smoking and get back into the habit have no will power, ones who quit and stay smoke-free do have will power. YOU LOSE! |

Money bin.
And those who quit and stay quit desperately want to smoke again, but they know they are too weak. That one cig turns into 20 with great ease. I am powerful enough that I can just smoke 1 whenever I want it. Its like lays potato chips where you cant eat just one. Those who eat none, well they are nothing. Those who eat a lot, they are nothing. Those who eat just 1, they are special. |
ChosenWarrior
| | #11 posted February 28, 2008 at 5:54pm (EDT) |
Not denying that logic...atleast the base of it, i just said you worded it wrong, smoking one cig every month does require will power
So there |
Chad
| | #12 posted February 28, 2008 at 5:56pm (EDT) |
it also requires will power to smoke when the media tries to tell you to stop. |

None of these make you better than me. I own you in all 6.

Tell a story involving you competence as a driver.
How long does it take you to grow a servicable beard
Has a house ever fell on your dad and has he ever wanted to kill a horse?
You are most assuredly not quicker than i
You have never once mentioned the desire to own a money bin.
The only one you have me on is fatness. But individually, these may not be wholy impressive. It is as a whole that demonstrates why I am better than all. |

Well in the 3+ years I've had my license, I've never gotten in a crash. I don't really have any stories about me not being an idiot on the road. I'm basically just an overall good driver.
I can grow a beard in 2 days easy. I have to shave daily. In the morning, before I shave, I have much worse than a 5 o'clock shadow.
No, because is not dumb enough to stand underneath a house that is falling down, nor piss off a horse enough for it to kick him.
That's a judgement call.
Just because I haven't mentioned a desire, doesn't mean I don't want one.
Rebuttal please?

That's some pretty quick wit |
Chad
| | #23 posted February 28, 2008 at 6:50pm (EDT) |
Being a good driver isn't just about not getting tickets. Its about breaking the law and avoiding any negative consequences without putting yourself in danger.
You have me beat by 2 days for a real beard. But again, I may be beat on individual components of greatness, but as a whole, I remain king.
My dad wasn't standing underneath a falling house, he was going under it when it was getting jacked up prior to moving it on top of a hill to make sure all the lines were disconnected. One of the jacks lost pressure causing the house to fall on him, pushing him into the soft soil which he dug himself out of. And my dad wasn't the one pissing the horse off, it was me when I was like 6 years old. It bit my head so I punched it causing it to kick.
That is not a judgment call. Most would agree that Mikey is one of the more intelligent posters on this site, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that he acknowledges me as more intelligent than you.
If you want a money bin is must be known. Early and often. |

I don't speed, run red lights, or anything. I give you my word. I even go the speed limit in construction zones (which there is a TON near my house). I'd rather get somewhere safe than quick. This, to me, constitutes as a better driver rather than being an idiot and getting away with it.
So since my dad hasn't put himself in dangerous situations, that makes him worse than yours? Come on, you're being ridiculous.
You may be more intelligent than me (which I would hope considering you've already been through college, and are something like 8 years older than me), but that doesn't mean you are more quick witted. I do still have street smarts.
I had never heard you wanted a money bin until now either, so that is a moot point.
I'm not arguing that I'm better than you. I'm arguing that you are not better than me.

Chad knows my dad is sweet. He loves him. I don't even know why he's trying to argue that his dad is better. I don't know Chad's dad, but I have to assume they are equal at the very least.

Chad
| | #29 posted February 28, 2008 at 7:05pm (EDT) |
blanket not speeding, running red lights or anything doesn't make you a good driver. There are many times where it is more dangerous to not speed than it is to speed. just like there are times when running a red light is actually the safest thing to do. living strictly by the rules doesn't make you a better driver, it makes you unadaptable. which is worse.
my dad doesn't go around putting himself in dangerous situations. The house was jacked up on like 15 hydraulic jacks when one lost pressure. This was well within a safe zone, it was just the shift of weight. If your dad got into an accident and instead of an airbag deploying the seat broke off, i wouldn't call your dad dangerous, he was just unfortunate enough to have to go through an equipment failure.
you have never been known for an extraordinary wit.
my desire for a money bin has been known since january. |

I actually used to think you were cool and an all around good guy, Chad. Now I just think you're a complete douche bag honestly, not that you care what I think of you. I don't really know if you're just doing this as a joke. If it is, you failed miserably. If it isn't, then may God have mercy on your soul. If you honestly believe that ANY of this crap makes you better than anybody on this site, you are one of the most self-centered, sheltered individuals that I ever had dealings with.
