Hope everyone had a wunnerful Christmas! Just thought I'd create a topic so you could brag on your new-found booty. *wink*

I had a DVD Christmas. I received literally no games at all. *shock*

But I now own.....

The Indy Jones box set -- 4 DVDs
The Alien Quadrilogy - 9 DVDs
The complete Monty Python -- 14 DVDs, every TV episode!
several seasons of Friends
first season of King of Queens

add the fact that my kids got.....
LotR: Two Towers -- extended edition
both Conan movies
Finding Nemo
Spaceballs

So I could probably sit in front of the TV for a week straight and not finish watching everything we got, hehe. Also got some other cool stuff, like a nice desk clock/calendar/thermometer, several books on tape for my commute to work, and of course, some clothes.

Best of all, my father-in-law is recovering very well from major surgery, got to see my parents and other family, and everyone had a great time. Here's hoping that yours was just as great. *grin*

WO! That's some haul there Rams! I only got 2 things this year. A Radeon 9800XT 256DDR vid card, and a samsung 172w flat panel monitor. And they both ROCK. The coolest thing about the monitor is that it's a widescreen monitor. It just looks SOOOOOOO cool. It's also great for gaming - something most fp's stink at. No after image, no picture remnents, or lagging pixels. Picture is bright, crisp and super clear. And it's awesome watching wide screen dvd's with no compression bars(those black bars at the top and bottom of the screen) Of course there were also the obligatory gifts of food, clothes, candy, and stocking stuffers and whatnot, but these 2 were the stars of the day, for obvious reasons.

Adrian got lots of presents, most of them good. We don't have the space or the need for more things so we had asked not to receive anything. My husband's parents had obviously not told the other relatives about that so we got some kitchenware and pointless cutlery.

I'm not really into presents for their own sake. With my 30eth birthday coming up, I have no idea what to wish for. Some more time of my own would be nice, though. And help to rebuild the kitchen which we're planning to do as soon as the rest of our home is finished.

I probably wouldn't have gotten that much, if not for the 20% off coupon that deepdiscountdvd.com ran. That stretched my Mom's and my wife's money a lot further. *smile*

It already does. *wry smile* Ugly cutlery, ugly kitchen. They've put floor tiles on the walls!

(It looks like pine on the picture, but it's oak.)

What are you talking about? That's a beautiful kitchen. At least I'm sure Paul Bunyun, and several thousand termites, would think so! *smile*
