This one is pretty straight forward. Of the crop of upcoming games that you have heard of or seen advertised, which one(s) are making you tingle with the most anticipation?
Let us know which ones and what it is about them that is making your mouth water!

Well, until recently I would have said Wizardry 8, the next in the long series of great RPGs I had played from early on, but this one's out now so...
The only one that jumps quickly to mind is World Sports Car...this one just looks SO sweet to me. I am a big fan of racing games, especially the racing sims, though I can enjoy the more arcade-like titles as well from time to time, and have just about every racing sim and alot of arcade ones as well. I have read several articles on it, both in magazines and on-line and it just sounds amazing. A small group of programmers with a true love for racing are working on it, and apparently their love for racing is shining through. The screenshots I've seen look amazing and from what I hear the physics are just as good! It covers so much racing, cars, tracks etc...it is just making me itch for it. Also the code is going to be pretty open as well, allowing for lots of user created mods and the like, wow...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?...is it out yet?

There are several of them that I am anticipating:
Broken Sword 3
Dark Fall
Dissension
Full Moon in San Francisco
Law & Order Interactive
Jerusalem
These all look like great adventure games, and since they ARE adventure games, then I HAVE to have them.... |

I was gonna say that even before I saw your post! I really liked Heroes 3 and I'll probably end up getting that even though I'm not much of a PC gamer. Of course, all the consoles I own are now dead so it's not like I could say I'm looking forward to any console games. Although I am looking forward to Zelda, Mario, and Mario Kart on Gamecube. I'll get a GC after those games come out.

StarCraft 2!!! I can't wait till it comes out... and then there's Age of Mythology by the makers of the Age of Empires series. I'm looking forward to both.

Since I mostly play adventure games, until last night I would have said Broken Sword 3. But last night I was so excited to hear that Might and Magic will have another out in the series this coming March. I can spend weeks at the computer on those games, and never notice the time going by in the real world. |

New game to look forward to! STUNTMAN, by the makers of Driver and Driver 2. From what I've seen, it's going to be just my type of game... drive cars, look cool, get famous. Woohoo!

Hi, Roger - Thought I'd take you up on your offer to join your forum, and this topic caught my eye right off the bat! Have to echo my anticipation for some of the titles already mentioned especially Star Trek Bridge Commander, Age of Mythology, Jedi Outcast, Starcraft 2, Warlords 2. In addition I'm anxious for Command & Conquer Renegade, Dungeon Siege, and Deus Ex 2. How can we stand the strain of waiting? Also, being a flight simmer, I'm dying for Thrustmaster to release their new Cougar flight stick and throttle combo. Semper Fi, Kerry |

Dungeon Siege tops my list. Close behind - Neverwinter Nights and Warcraft 3.
I would definitely add Starcraft 2, but I've never seen anything concrete that it is even in development. Of course, nothing wrong with some wishful thinking! |

The new Zork is gunna blow you people away! Can't talk about it yet, but rest assured - if things go according to plan(which they never do) you'll be hearing things about it by next Christmas.
Just putting the finishing touches on the sequel to Shogun now. You'll see that 1 quite soon. It's called Medieval:Total War
The wish list still has Werewolf:The Apocolypse and Secret of Vulcan Fury on it. |
