Hey, man. I once read this paragraph you wrote on your bio page and I'm not sure if it was your original words, it sure felt like it, and it sure felt like you were doing some heavy thinking at the time. But I was really moved by everything you said and although this may sound really egotistical and really stupid, but I am currently writing the greatest story ever told... I probably won't be finished with it until long after we forget about gametz or anything about our lives right now.
But I was just wanting your permission to "paraphrase" that article. I wouldn't use it word for word, I wouldn't even use the whole thing or anything resembling your words. However, it was very inspiring and am asking for your permission to, uh, be inspired, I guess. I copied the paragraph, printed it out, and pasted it into one of my notebook/sketchbook, which is basically just a random-jumble of thoughts, ideas, wisdom, anything I am touched by and needs to be "collected" for my greatest-story-ever-told-script-that's-light-years-away-thing.
"Somewhere along the path, all of us reach a place where we realize that some of our most cherished notions about The Way Things Are, some of our most deeply imbedded beliefs concering Who I Am, simply don't hold water.>>>>>>>>>>>>There is an alternative. Focus. Don't get caught up in petty things; don't let yourself be weighed down by your emotions. Contemplate. Expose yourself to yourself. Test the boundaries of your ego. Relax. And most importantly, believe in yourself."
Does this sound familiar? The Taoist, Buddhist, Universal Philosophy present in these writings are so intelligent, Jeff. I mean, talking about arrogance, anger, fear, etc. being our "favorite placeholders, our preferred strategies for relating to the world so far"... just absolutely brilliant stuff, man. So, not that I would want to copy this stuff, but can I keep it in my notebook for a few decades and gaze upon its wisdom from time to time? You may one day visit a movie theater near you and notice some things... -Lino-

Heh. That's uh. Interesting.
Those are my original words, yes. I was going through a bunch of crap at the time and bla bla; that was just an accumulation of my thoughts that I put up there, just because. I wasn't expecting to inspire anyone, hell I didn't even think anyone paid attention.
So, you definitely have my permission. I'm actually a bit flattered.
