The classic road trip game, in forum form. What are you bringing to the picnic? Each post should bring everything that the last post had, plus one new thing. The new thing must begin with the next letter of the alphabet. It goes by the whole phrase, but words like "a", "the", and "some" don't count. The idea is to name things that are conceivably possible to bring on a picnic, but not normal picnic items like sandwiches and stuff.
Example:
1. I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing American pride.
2. I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing American pride and a bust of Henry VIII.
3. I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing American pride, a bust of Henry VIII, and some crack.
4. I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing American pride, a bust of Henry VIII, some crack, and a Dear John from my ex.
5. I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing American pride, a bust of Henry VIII, some crack, a Dear John from my ex, and an Esperanto dictionary.
And so on and so forth. When we get to Z, the next post starts from scratch with A, and the cycle repeats, except you can't use anything that was said in a prior round.
