The new mIRC 6.3 is Vista compatible and has added a new TOOLBAR function. It would be best to upgrade your mIRC to this new version before getting Vista so you can enjoy the new script features right away. If you are using Windows Vista, it is also best to update your GTZ script, before updating mIRC itself.
For this new version of mIRC, the advanced script has some interesting features, involving the Function Key toolbar. First, the function key buttons are now integrated into the actual mIRC toolbar, so it will look a lot better. Second, each button can now have a right-click drop-down menu. Third, only the F1 and F12 functions (and right-click menu) are defined by the GTZ script, and the remaining F2 - F11 are user defined. Pressing the keyboard function key will also run the button's assigned commands.
F1 : click for the script help file... RIGHT click for script options.
F2 - F11 : The DEF button is used to define the new toolbar buttons F2 thru F11.
F12 : click is reserved... RIGHT click to see script info.
DEF - click to define the command that is run when you click any of the (F2 - F11) buttons, or if you press the function key on your keyboard.
DEF - right click to open the F2 - F11 menu script, tbfk.mrc. The tooltips that display when your mouse hovers the buttons can be defined here also.
