What is Linux / Ubuntu / Wine?

Linux is a free Unix-type operating system for the PC, and an alternative to Windows.
Ubuntu is one of several popular versions of Linux.
WINE is a free WINdows Emulator, allowing many windows programs to run in Linux.

If you need to install WINE... start here...

1- Click => System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager.
2- Enter Administrator password if needed.
3- On the Synaptic Package Manager, go to quick search and type in "wine".
4- Check "wine" and "wine-dev" for installation.

If WINE is already installed... start here...

5- Click => HERE to download mIRC. Save mircXXX.exe to desktop.
6- RIGHT-click => 'mircXXX.exe' > Open with 'Wine Windows Program Loader'.
7- After mIRC installs, click => HERE to setup mIRC and get the free GTZ script.
