Is the freebie icon only for actual trades? I've given out a few Rock Band codes that I advertised in my Freebie thread, but there was nothing sent to me (shipping costs) from the other user, so I'm not sure if that counts. If not, no worries; I'll be giving out some freebies soon enough.

HoHoHo290: I think it'd be safer to pend trades where something physically tangible will be shipped. I recall lots of people getting roused up in the Site Feedback forum because of trades where nothing was actually shipped. This resulted in several of said trades being deleted.

The other users and I didn't create/pend any offers; rather, I just PM'ed them the codes. I wasn't sure if it would be sufficient to receive the Freebie icon, though. I'll be throwin' up some ship-able freebies in the near future.

I sent one to jedimastercris. I accidentally said I was getting a freebie, but I meant a freebie thank you, XD. I sent him a white ds stylus for his dslite. |

Ah, I see.
Did you send him the stylus as a part of your list? That is, did you post a freebie list with the stylus in it, and then send it? For future reference, you should post a list of what you can give as a freebie, as opposed to sending a freebie directly. That way we can all see the list and make no mistake as to whether or not you had one.

Did you post a list before joining the freebie box? Most of the freebie box threads require you to be a member of the freebie forum. And to be recognized member of the freebie forum you have to complete a freebie trade (i.e. post a list, and then give something away in a trade).

I'm thinking that a user will need to have posted a list and given a freebie away (actually mailed) before receiving an icon. I know there are some users that gave things away, but without a list, I cannot tell if it was done for the Freebie Forum, or if it was for something else. Thoughts?

Well, in my case, since this is stuff from the failed Freebie Box....it would be nice
if we could make an exception....cuz to be frank with you, I just want the crap out of my house.
But I also don't want my exception to turn into other ppl wanting to "slide by"
so I don't know....it's up to you, and you know I would not ask for this exception normally, you
know that I am not one of those GTZ members that make a habit of it.
As I said, I just want this Freebie Box stuff out of my house, and what he wants is stuff from that.
So up to you Willyum, just let me know.
