Ok folks, I have a ton of OLD stuff to give away. Most of it is PC stuff, but if you are building a retro gaming rig or something, these will work.
MY RULES:
1. Shipping will be from 93560, and I will ship with DC always, yes even for freebies.
2. I accept paypal (gifted) for the shipping. I don't want to take a beating on the shipping, so I will package the stuff up, take it in to the post office (it's right down the street) and then come back with the actual shipping cost to you. If you agree to the shipping, I'll send as soon as paypal hits.
3. If you don't know what something is, or does, just ask and I will help you. With that said, I'm not your tech support guy, so if something goes bewbs-up after you receive it, don't come doging to me. A lot of this stuff has been sitting in boxes for over 10 years....
Sega Genesis and SNES sports titles are at the bottom
Please post here, then send me the offer to avoid confusion, negs, and hurt-ass feelings, thanks!
I am in the process of going through all of my old junk, so there will be more stuff added as time goes on.

I'll up pics as time permits.

Legendrko25 sent me the offer today and since he was the first one to respond to the post for Code Veronica and Tekken, he gets them both. My apologies to everyone else, but I think the protocol is to post in the forum, then send the offer immediately after. At least that's what i do. There will be some more items available in a few days (I think). |

Is this PCI? And what do you mean by passthrough cable?
 |
Mrlapage
| | #25 posted October 17, 2009 at 12:47am (EST) |
Yes, they're both PCI.
Because these are 3D ONLY cards, you would still have to have another video card for your desktop and 2d stuff, hence, the passthrough cable, which basically took your 2d signal from your regular video card, then fed it through the 3DFX card.
When you played a game like, say Unreal, the 3DFX card would detect the "3d signal" from the PCI bus and basically say to the 2d videocard, "ok, I'm taking over." The passthrough cable was a simple male to female DB15 cable.
When these came out in uh, 98/99 they were very expensive and top of the line being some of the first cards to offer SLI etc...
See here for more info,

Do you reckon that any of those gfx cards would work for a DOS-based system? I'm thinking of turning my old Celeron 633mhz into a DOS computer.
 |
Mrlapage
| | #29 posted October 31, 2009 at 7:03pm (EST) |
Well, there seems to be some wrappers etc floating around for that. I'll do some research later tonight and let you know. |
Mrlapage
| | #30 posted November 2, 2009 at 8:26am (EST) |
Looking it up, 3dfx support under DOS seems sketchy to me. Those cards do support glide (openGL) and direct3d, but mostly it looks like they should be used under windows. There's only a few titles that utilize "3d" in DOS anyway.
If you are building a machine that'll have win98/2k or even XP (or linux) on it, then one of these cards will do the trick. But for a pure DOS rig, I don't think so.
Maybe throw a post in the tech help forum and see what the experts have to say?

The RF switch takes the output (audio and video) from your playstation and feeds it into the RF (antenna) port on your TV. It's used for old-school CRT tv's. I assume it will work on a new LCD or plasma.
The controller wont fit into a small flat rate priority box, so I am guessing that it will still be around 5.00 for both items sent parcel post in a smallish box. If you want to pend it up, I can send Sat. morning. |

Is there anyway to see if the lightgun can be used on the PS2? Either way I'll pass on the RF swithc and take this and the PS1 controller.

The lightgun has the same output/input as a standard ps1/ps2 controller, so I don't see why not. However, it won't work with an LCD or plasma. I'm not sure if that's what you are using or not. Let me know what you want to do. Please send the offer if you want them. |

The Guncon mode on that lightgun should work fine. But, the Konami gun mode? That won't work. I've tried several third-party Konami lightguns and they all refuse to work on my slim PS2.
This mode is only used on a few games, like Die Hard Trilogy and Lethal Enforcers, though. |
