In an attempt to get some actual dicussion here, I'll throw out the question:
Who's played The Temple of Elemental Evil?
In which form? (Atari's PC game, as GM? 1st, 2nd, 3rd edition? via Hackmaster? as a fan mod to another D&D PC {or non-PC} game?)
Did you (or your party) live?

I've just barely gotten in the Temple itself in the offical PC game, so please limit any spoilers.

So I shouldn't tell you that all the elementals in the temple are evil?

Never played it. I tend to play original, non-published "modules" designed by friends. Right now I'm playing in a world designed mostly by my wife. *smile*

They're evil? I thought they were just morally confused. *smile* Had to put them down either way when they started harrassing my wizard.

Maybe they're evil in this world/setting.

But in another setting, they aren't evil per se. They just think on an alien level
and have no understanding of mortals or their world and are quite anarchistic
by nature, so yeah, people die when they come across elementals, but
the elemental wasn't doing anything 'evil'....per se. *raspberry*

Sounds like "someone's" a little racist toward elementals.

Did one touch you in your naughty place when you were younger? *surprise*
