I said in the other forum that I will probably do this. What time would tournament be? I get on kinda late and I not really a morning person and got school in the afternoon. Get back to me, Thanks. |

As I said whenever your team and the team you are playing can meet up. There is no set time, and the tournament will not all be done in one sitting.

Yeah, it's only 3v3. It's used primarily for Clan matches, I believe.

Alright, well how many teams should we do. 8 teams seems good if we can get enough people. So we'd need 24 in all. Right now we're at 11 (if you count philly and Sid who said they may have time constraints). 8 teams would give us an easy tournament set up, 3 rounds total, including the championship.
If we don't get enough people, then I would consider letting non-GTZers in, but it'd be way more fun with just us. Tell other GTZ'ers that don't check here to sign up.
Also, if you already know what your team is, Go ahead and let me know. Maybe come up with a sweet team name, too?

We might think about dividing up teams fairly. I mean, have people kinda judge themselves on their ability level, and make a list here. That way, there aren't people that aren't picked up or whatever, and teams will be a bit more even.

I thought about that, but then it really ruins the whole idea of a tournament. I highly doubt there will be some team of 3 really crappy people playing. I think it'd be more fun if you played with you wanted to...

Yeah, I think everyone here also plays quite a bit, and knows there way around the game fairly well. I mean, sure, some of us are better then others, but its probably not THAT drastic. (except maybe in the case of Shags, OWNED) |

I just don't get the logic behind random teams. Or teams based on k/d. Considering how everybody says they are so streaky when it comes to CoD, k/d doesn't always mean anything either. I've only played the game for maybe 2 weeks, and I sucked pretty badly at the very beginning. Now, I almost never go negative, but my k/d certainly wouldn't show that.
I think the only "fair" way to do this would be for you to be able to pick your teams. That way, the best players win, which is really what tournaments are all about. We don't have to do this for subtime or anything. It can be just for fun/bragging rights.

my gamertag is Frank021
My K/D Ratio is now 1.47
I just entered my first Prestige though so now im at level 12 though.
I'll get it up to level 45 before the tourny starts.
If anyone has played the game regularly, and has a k/d ratio of over 1.3, i would like you to join me on a team.
Also if like to practice with you a little also, so let me know!
