It's exactly what it sounds like. For the next couple days I will be at working forging some race courses for a race competition halo styled! I will be open to accept forge courses that meet the criteria that follows.
1. There is a way that you can mark laps or room so that i can make a place to mark laps.
2. Must be balanced so that one person doesnt have advantage.
3. Creativity is recomended but figure 8 courses are fine if you want
Signups are open. pairs are recommended but are not neccessary. (singles will be paired randomly.) I have one course ready and will have more on the way if you wish to see them and practice you can contact my gamertag to sign up leave your gamertag and tell me youll sign up.
Required
1. Halo 3, Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, and obviously an Xbox 360
2. Herioc Map Pack (its free.....)
3.Tourney is Knockout Style. (one elimination every 4 races)
EDIT All systems go. First Match coming soon.
Rules
1. Rainbow Road is a dog, therefore Halo Road must also be a dog.
2. Don't dog.
3. Have Fun.

Actually used to do this a ton in H2, headlong was awesome for this because it had the bridge jump. |

I see you guys have been playing a lot of Halo 3 lately. I guess I'll have to give it another try, as a few guys on TZ recommended I not get rid of it, because the multiplayer is so good.
I haven't even gotten to the point where you use vehicles, so I guess I have a lot of playing to do. It's just that darn COD4 has me hooked! |

No, there are going to be tracks made in the Forge and you will race warthogs or mongooses, like mario kart. |

Smaug - have you done rocket races yet? I'm going to assume it is like Rocket Races, only with custom maps.

Isn't rocket race just where everyone starts with rockets? Anyway, I tried a few of the courses out, this is gonna be sweet. However, there needs to like be a way to keep track of laps and wins.

there will be a way to keep track of the laps and no rockets..... Plasma pistols and nades. but indestructible vehicles are on so you can get that mariokart feel. |

Don't have a partner, and I never tried the vehicles. If I see you playing online this weekend, I'll try them out.

Thanks for letting me try out the courses. It's challenging as he11, but I'm game. The courses are very unforgiving, especially if you fall off a ramp or high platform.
Very clever though and looking forward to the competition.

Actually, if games will be played early on weekends, I guess it's a good thing he can't find his disc, cause I won't be able to participate either. Sorry.
Thanks for the opportunity though. I probably shouldn't participate in tourneys anyway cause I have a very limited time online and I never know when. My family typically is asleep by 10:00 pm EST, that's why I said that time would be good for me.

well rob If Colon Finds his Halo 3 disk by saturday.....I will postpone the challenge until 7pm PST so you get a chance to play. how does that sound? |

That's a gracious offer, I appreciate it, but I still may have trouble committing on the weekends. I know most people play more on the weekends, I probably play less.
I know you don't need my whole life story, but basically, I play when my wife sleeps, and she stays up later on the weekends. I also watch my son nights while my wife gets some rest, so I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a tournament game and have him start acting up and stuff.
It's probably best that I bow out now, than to ruin it for the rest of you or my teammate each week. When I saw the days and times the COD4 tournament was going on, I figured most tournaments would run those days/times (weekdays around 11:00 pm). But since it's so hard to coordinate, I understand you setting a day and time (and probably why that tournament has taken 2 months to complete )
