I just downloaded the trailer for the multiplayer, and I gotta say that this game looks sooooooooo freakin' awesome. Single player looks really cool too. Opinions?

I was in the beta and played it for a while. My opinion: meh...

Played the beta as well, same opinion. It wasn't bad, but after CoD and Halo MP, everything else is just so mediocre. I'll have to give this one a go to see if anythings changed.

I'm hoping they've changed alot since the beta but I doubt they have. Like they've said, it's fun..but nothing spectacular. Battlefield2: Modern Combat was much more fun in my opinion because a) you could prone (you can't, or couldn't, prone in the Bad Company beta.) and b) The vehicles in Modern Combat were 10x more fun.
All in all decent, but not worth 60$ based on MP to me. Maybe with campaign
But until I pick this up or try it I'm going to get Quake Wars and hope for something good from it...

I loved Battlefield 2 (although it probably wouldn't be as good anymore since I've played so much Halo and CoD), but when it came out it was great for multiplayer. |

I never cared for any of the Battlefield games. (1942, 2, etc)

there releasing conquest game mode on th e market place the day it releases because of all the mad battlefield 2 modern combat players |

Bruce and Nerv hit my opinion exactly. BF2MC was THE SHIZNIT....Bad Company beta was just bleh...nothing great and definitely nothing that would make me want to play match after match.

Are you serious, they weren't even going to include Conquest in this game? That was what Battlefield has been since the beginning and they didn't even want to keep it... lame. |

I agree it is lonely. I'm stuck playing with ice cream mans who kill me on purpose throughout the game (RV03 and JMorgan14) |

If it were 25% as fun as BF2 I'd get it. I may still get it to try out the campaign but the MP was dulled down so much I don't know if I can enjoy it. Slow vehicles, no prone, lack of game-types. I just..don't..know.. |
