I'm feeling a bit peckish. Slightly Bloated. Completely satiated due to the copious amounts of chocolate I ate today.
Tired, Achy, Gassy.
Unshaven. Naked.

the last 12 hours went something like this:
-Attempt to go to bed at 10pm
-Hear loud noises including hammering until 12am from adjacent apartment.
-Struggle to sleep. I finally got to be around 1 ish.
-Wake up before my alarm at 5:08 am
-Struggle to get back to sleep. As I'm going to sleep 6am alarm goes off.
Now here is where the fun starts!!
-I go to my bathroom, and begin stretching. As I go to grasp the towel rack, it unlatches from the wall and one end piece goes flying and hits me in the head. Being still now awake this was startling.
-As I fumble to put the towel rack back up, I knock over my ceramic flying cow. No seriously. It landed onto the toliet and one of its wings broke off.
-Then I turned on the sink and plugged it. I was getting ready to wash my face and do some morning upkeep.
- I foolishly walk away to turn on my computer, and check email
- I sit on GTZ for 5 minutes.
- Stand up walk back to bathroom. "Oh crap!" I forgot I plugged the sink. The floor was a pool, it was seeping into the carpet outside of the bathroom.
All this and I hadn't even taken a shower yet.
and now I just spilled yogurt on my pants... its gunna be one of those days.

Today....I feel ugly.
I've slept horribly the last few weeks so the circles under my eyes are looking particularly dark.
I developed a lovely pimple inside my nose that, at least this morning, blew it up to an interesting and quite uncomfortable size.
As if the physical manifestation weren't enough, I'm feeling more than a tad angry and frustrated, personally and professionally, at the moment and really feel like whining even though it is out of character. All in all, this is not a day I want my girl to see me. And sadly, there is no other option; I have to ride this out.
I feel ugly. | Qpalzm

I feel fat. Seriously I need to work out. But when I'm doing 50+ hours a week, I can't find the motivation to do anything. I'm just so beat.
but don't feel ugly. I'm sure you are a handsome man. I mean that plutonically.

Heh, yeah I've had the fat feeling too. Within a few months of leaving Virginia (a year ago) I lost a little more than 20 pounds but had never experienced that feeling. Then, between wrecking my ankle 3 weeks ago and this past tuesday when I could finally run on it (I hope to skate this weekend), I could feel the poundage just sitting there from doing nothing; not a pleasant feeling at all *blech*
I'm actually a bit concerned about a new job I'm currently getting a background check for. It will be 100% travel Monday -> Thursday which puts a huge dent in my diet (fear the calories eating out every meal...) and workout schedule (would I really work out at a hotel gym? actually, I might.....) It should be interesting.
I hate working out but like having done so; it's a nice feeling. Having a partner or a motivator (like playing on a team) makes a big difference. Will 50 hours/week be the norm?

What kind of work do you do? I'm actually in the process of applying for a clearance, So I'm readying myself for a background check aswell.

First of all, thank you for reminding me I'm single and making me feel bad about it!
And yeah, I think Next week I'll start my "para para paradise routine" I lost almost 60 lbs since I started using that game. (gained 20 back)
> Will 50 hours/week be the norm?
I generally work 10 hour days. I'm home at 7:30 in bed at 9:30. Strange change as I was freelancing before and made my own schedule. Its not unusal for me to work 12 to 14 hour days though, depending on whats needed. I'm technical support so I'm basically on-call. And the Various VPs and Presidents like to call me after general work hours also.

I'm not doing that work yet, my offer is actually contingent on a clear check, which there should be. I will be doing project management-type work (heavy client interaction) and installs of healthcare information systems. Since I'd have access to patient records and I guess the company is a government contractor, all of it is necessary. I won't have any clearance at the end of the process though. My understanding of the security clearance is that beyond "did you commit a felony" they want to know if there's anything you can be blackmailed for, held over you that can compromise your inegrity. If you admit to boozing, smoking 420 and all sorts of stuff they shouldn't necessarily care; it's if you try to hide it that they'll nab you. At least, that was the take presented to me by a friend who does air force work at Booz-Allen.

Hah! friends make great motivators too; coworkers can be the best because you don't nevessarily have to let time lag between work and home to get to the gym; you just go straight from there ; ' )

Ah, the thrill of winning an auction after stalking it for 35 minutes. One little bastid thought he had me but no, I simply bid up his auction while eyeing another, cheaper one (Brand new dvdset, Angel, Season 1). It got a little scary on the legitimate bidding I did...it was at 13.50 and then suddenly the hit counter jumped....someone new was eyeing MY dvdset. with three minutes left he tipped his hand, 15.00 and the original bidder was still winning. The seconds ticked away.....1 minute 7 seconds, time to hit the place bid button.....count off 15 seconds....enter 20.98 max bid. Confirm bid. I am the new high bidder with 16.00. damnit, 37 seconds left.......refreshrefreshrefreshrefresh, 7 seconds left, I am the high bidder at 20.98. Congratulations, you have won the auction! awwww yeah. *lights cigarette* Checks bid history....mr. sneaky put in a max bid of 20.50. Take that biatch!
