What is your favorite beer?
Mine is Hacker Pschorr Hefe Weisen (if your liquor store has Hacker Pschorr, it's most likely this one). It has a slightly nutty, caramel-like flavor. Very tasty.
New Belgium has now begun distributing to the Midwest, which is great; considering I've been a fan of their Fat Tire for years. Like the Hacker Pschorr, it also has an earthy taste. This one is a little smoother.
I'm currently working thru a 4-pack of Milwaukee's Best Ice tallboys. Not tasty, but it gets the job done, and it was $2.50 after tax.

In my tastes, the darker the better. I love me a good Guinness. There are a lot of good stouts and porters out there, but there's nothing quite as smooth as Ireland's best.

It's nice to finally have Fat Tire and New Belgium's other delicious beers available in the midwest.
I like Oberon Ale and Boddington's once in a while..I can't think of any others at the moment.
The 60's formula Schlitz isn't too bad either.

BEER BEER BEER BEER BEER
Ureich (import) is getting some distribution in Eastern PA. It's cheap ($20 a case) and tastes clean and german-like.
Genesee Cream Ale is AMAZING on tap. Support American brewers!
Everybody in the NYC area should track down a case of Captain Lawrence Brewing Co.'s Brown Ale. it's the first good Brown Ale I've had in a long time.
Weyerbacker's Slam Dunkel Weizenbock is really good.
...
My favorite is still Guinness on tap.

Just did a BandE on my friend's place to snag a few MGDs. I left a five with the following message written on it:
Took some beers.
Felt bad.

Would they flip out more because I left the money, or without it?

Sirs. Here's a beer that sucks. "Doghead 90 Minute Imperial IPA". It's so unbalanced and forced it almost made me consider going dry for the rest of the week. People like it because it's overly hopped and they're morons. Beeradvocate rates that crapty beer higher than Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse and Pilsner Urquell. They suck.

I'll steer clear from that beer.
