So, I've been seeing commercials for Bud Light Golden Wheat on TV. Today I decided to buy a sixer to try it out. It's slightly sweeter than Leniekugel Sunset Wheat (which I'm guessing is upper midwest only), so I'd say it's pretty close to Blue Moon. Pricier than Sunset Wheat, at $6.99 for a 6-pack, and with less ABV (4.1%).
It's tasty, but I'll stick with Sunset Wheat (which is 4.9% according to Beer Advocate).
Has anyone tried a Trappist Ale? It's not a brand, but rather a style of beer. I had one a couple years ago, it had an ABV of 13.5%. Aside from burning a bit, it was a damn good beer; lots of different flavors. It was one of my brothers', but he was saving it for a special time (unbeknowest to me). He said the bottle alone was $15.00; I've checked online since, and the lowest price I've seen is $5.99, just for a 12 fl oz bottle.

Eh, Sunset Wheat is the worst beer I've ever had. It tastes like fruit loops and it has no substance. Try eating a hamburger with it, it's like flowery syrup beer. That Blue Moon beer sucks too. it's too sweet. I tried a case of the stuff but got tired of it and used it to water some cactus plants. I've had a couple of those trappist ales with that monk guy on the front of it. Pretty good.
* CHEAPO GOOD BEERS *
If you can get in in bottles, Genesse Cream Ale (5.1%) is really good. All Genesee beers are absurdly cheap. I think the last time I was in NY, the local gas stations were selling them for about $10 a case. Ureich (4.8%) is a import beer that sells in cases for about the same price as Miller Lite ($20 bucks or so), but it kind of tastes like Hacker-Pschorr. Lord Chesterfield Ale (5.4%, Yuengling) is pretty good in a bottle, but it's amazing if you can get a keg and tap it.
If you ever get the chance, track down a Victory Hop Devil. It's really hoppy but it's still well balanced. And the label is awesome.

Oh, Belgian beers really aren't my thing, but if you've got a lot of money to blow, get a Ommegang Hennepin. They used to be cheaper, but they cost like $8 a bottle now. That brewery started out making Belgian style beers but got bought up by Belgians (Duvel). A local brewery (for me) named Weyerbacher's puts out a beer in that style called Merry Monks which is really good. I think they age it in bourbon casks and call that beer "Prophesy".

Pricing is all regional.... the only place I've ever seen a case of Miller Lite for over $20 was when I was in St. Louis. Here in WI it's rarely over $15.
I've had some Yuengling's before, but I'm pretty sure they don't distribute around here, at least last time I checked. But I'm pretty sure I can track down some Genesse Cream Ale.
And here's a fun label for a pretty good beer last time I had it:

Sorry about trashing your beer, lol. I guess I was in a ornery mood that day.
Pretty good brewery near Philadelphia.

I'd buy it.
But I'm in Wisconsin, so the odds of seeing most of your micros are slim to none. Is Arrogant Bastard available to you? I wanna say it's from Madison, WI, so probably not.

I've seen Arrogant Bastard around, never tried it though.

It's pretty hoppy and bitter, and since they come in 22oz and are 7.2% abv, by the end of a couple, you become an arrogant bastard.
Classic marketing.
