Damn, Joe Buck is the most boring baseball announcer on TV. And he's gonna suck balls in the World Series like he did last year. I think he wasted a whole inning talking about instant replay and Cubans tonight. An atom bomb could go off in the stadium and he would barely notice. Thank god for ESPN radio.

I watch a lot of football on satellite, and the football commentators are so bad, including Joe Buck, who is equally bad on football as he is baseball. The worst part is when Joe starts talking about baseball for a good 5-10 minutes while Troy tries to ignore him and talk about plays happening on the field.
Anyways, the whole point of me mentioning it being satellite is I can't turn the volume down and switch to radio commentators, since they call the plays 5-10 seconds before they happen on TV. Now, if I had satellite radio, that would work.

Yesh, it's especially bad with the baseball broadcasts because the radio broadcasts at least 15 seconds earlier than the TV feed. With football, if I can get the Philadelphia station (Merrill Reese & Mike Quick, one of the best in the country, IMO) it's almost spot on with the cable I'm getting.

I could watch the regular stations through digital, but my upstairs sucks and digital TV connection is terrible in my room. I get 2 channels and they barely come in. The Score (sports radio in Chicago) is my favorite, as is the other Chicago sports station, which does the radio broadcasts of the Bears game. I like to listen to them because all they do is talk about the Bears, so they know everything about every player. While most TV commentators go from one game to another, so they get player names wrong, and sometimes even team names wrong. a few years ago I was watching the Chicago Bengals playing the Cincinnati Bears, good game.

Watch the game on a DVR if you have one. Pause the live broadcast for 10-15 seconds to sync it up to the radio. Hit play/unpause, and you're good to go.
