Game Share Forum Overview
This forum was created to allow traders to lend and borrow games to each other (you can also trade). The goal is to try games before you buy them. As well as help all the PS3/360 achievement whores of the community boost there scores in a affordable and effective manner.
RULES & GUIDELINES
1. You must have a Gold Star or Higher on gameTZ to participate in this service fully.
Any non Gold Stars that wish to participate will be under a probationary period in which they must lend out 10 Games in individual shares WITHOUT requesting a game in return (unless the Borrower wants to cover shipping with a game from their list).

2. You may borrow as many games as the lender will allow you to.
3. Borrower pays all shipping fees unless both sides are lending games.
4. The lender may lend and share with as many members as they see fit.
5. Time period of the deal is dependent on both parties.
6. All transactions should be discussed in the Forum before a Trade is Pended.
7. Use of the Trading System & Delivery Confirmation is a MUST for transactions.
8. It may be more effective to ship Game Only to save on the cost of shipping this will be up to the lender.
9. Games do not have to be qued to be sent, the lender can opt out to not have a que in place and just do first come first serve when the game is returned.
10. The lender may allow the borrower to ship the game to the next person in que (if they have a que). This may have repercussion as damaged games may come up with 2 parities that may be responsible.
11. A lender may discuss with the borrower that they may need the game back earlier as it is in pending trade discussions. If that is the case the borrower will have to ship the game back earlier than the original time period agreed.
12. Any damaged/broken games that occur through this system is to be dealt with between parties. I am not going to be responsible for such happenings, but will look to ban people from the forum if needed. With that all of this is at YOUR RISK!
How does it work?
The lender creates a thread in the forum with a list of games he/she wishes to lend out to the community. From there a borrower will contact them in the forum asking to be lent a game for a certain period of time.
Example:
User X creates forum post with game Z.
User Y wants to borrow game Z so they ask in user X's forum post if they can borrow it for # amount of time. Once agreed the trade is pended and user Y covers shipping cost to user X and the trade is off.
Recommendations:
o Ship disk only so you can ship First Class!
o Don’t ship Media Mail as it may take up to 2 weeks and delay the entire process.
o Do not offer high priced games such as Limited Edition / Special Edition sets.
o Be sure to check who your sharing with as not all Gold Star users are the best traders.
o Always inspect your game disks before shipping and after returned. Look for scratches, swaps etc.
Final Thoughts
This forum will only grow as long as you advertise the service out to the community and you offer your own games for sharing. You want better games then we need more users using it so we have a larger selection. All it takes is a message here, a mention there.
I expect this forum to run on its own and for the users who are active to make sure everything is inline. I am not looking to patrol or police strict rules on the users. The rules are there to encourage a safe environment while doing this but in the end of the day its up to you what you want to offer and who you trade with.

Please lend me insight on the rules. I am looking to make this very simple as I expect Gold Star traders to be well versed in trading and how to spot potential scammers or issues. |

All the rules looks good except for:
....11. If a lender requests a game back from the borrower before the time period agreed, the borrower MUST ship back the item (as trades do come up with our games often).
I only think that seems a little unfair to the borrower since they will be paying for shipping both ways (roughly $5) and may end up having to send the game back before the agreed time/finishing it.
$5 is a lot if it`s a cheaper game that they could have just bought for $10

I am willing to adjust it.
Maybe opened ended.

Thanks fixed.
I am thinking about 2 things but I would like the community to offer there insight:
1. Allowing the forum to be used by members without gold stars on a case by case basis. OR recommendation basis.
2. Having everyone who wants to use this forum post a list so we can continue to grow the offerings. |

I wouldn't mind expanding to lower starred members that have been around for awhile, but definitely not just any noob who shows up. If they've been around for 6+ months with a 100% rating, then a silver star should be good enough. |

I think for those of us that are not gold star members should just send first like we do in trades.I really like this idea and wouldn't mind sending my games first to someone that is well respected on here. |

It's not nearly the same thing. No one is going to send you a game and trust you to send it back when you've been here for only 6 days. |

How about you create a new Thread of "Reccommended Non Users
That way they can post in the thread first and if anyone who has a Gold star and a list in here Recommends them then they can post a list?

Maybe I will. But I rather just use this one you ass.
and yeah I was just wondering cause I've been trading for so many older games here recently
that I've lost a lot of my 360 titles.
