Come out of your dark corner, and tell us how it is. It was so enticing this past weekend at Wally World...

I had it pre-ordered, but amazon didn't charge me right away and I needed money, so I cancelled it.
And yes. I hate myself x 1000!!!11! for doing so.

I wish I could get one of the UK import versions.
In the US, the Limited Edition is cool, but in the UK, there's a "Lawful Good" edition and a "Chaotic Evil" edition!!!

Oooh, neat. I was surprised to see the LE at Wally World--twas a nice box, nevertheless. I've read good things about the singleplayer quest too.

Being the NWN whore I am, I'll probably still try and get the other "alignment" related editions, but for now I'm gonna get the
U.S. Limited Edition on Friday (barring everywhere I look being sold out....that would suck ass).

There were two or three of the LE's still at my Wally World today. If you have no luck, I'll run out and grab you one. I'm so tempted to snag it...

Finally had the money to order the fudgeer.
Also bought the Strategy Guide and World Builders Guide (as I said; If I'm a fanboy of anything it's the NWN franchise )

Yeah.
I really need to start robbing people for $$ if I'm broke when a new NWN related item appears on the shelf!

It's about time you started thinking. Think I will install it now. The stack of discs is daunting...

Yeah, it kind of blows my mind that companies even still put out multi-cd versions of games.

how much did you get it for from Amazon Richie? Bestbuy has it for $25+shipping (for another hour and a half, not sure if it's still in-stock), in case you didnt purchase it at that price

Well, being the fanboy that I am, I ordered the Limited Edition, so it was like 60 bucks!
I'd never spend that much on any other game. lol

To answer shags original question:
It's pretty good dog!
Well, except for the bugs and taxing system requirements. But bugs are expected on a massive project like this and the game still looks
pretty damn good with the settings that I tweaked to get better performance.
No *real* complaints here.
And playing the new Warlock class is pretty interesting. He's kind of a pussy right now (like most magic types are), but at a later level,
he'll be able to morph into a demon! Muahahahaha!

Oh. And the kicker is, I'm playing an Aesimir, so he's got celestial blood from that and demon blood from the warlock class.
Ain't life wondrous?!

I barely played mine before trading it. I'm looking to get one back soonish, but in the meantime I'm playing Baldur's Gate and the original NWN . I liked what I saw in NWN2, though--classes, CLASSES! Oh my, there were plenty to choose from. I'm looking forward to getting it back and spending some time with it, likely after XMas (and after a BG/BG2 playthrough). I'm more interested in playing with the tools, though, I think.

Yeah, I'll probably veer off of the game after a dozen or so hours and get more involved with the toolset; then I'll
eventually come around and get going with the game again. That's pretty much how it happened with the first NWN.

Damn, shags is addicted to trading. Didn't have the game that long, traded it away even though you liked it and are already talking aboot getting it again. o_O |

Nah, I'm not that bad...I ditched it to trade for the collector's edition . I've actually slowed down my trading considerably in the last coupla years.
