If you beat the game you get a code to play as a flying rabbit that stomps insurmountable amounts of ass.
I love this game.

you have the Neo version I guess? I should really go back to some of those arcade/mame shooters and make myself a killer cabinet.

I have the SNES one at the moment, though I have the sequels for AES / Neo Geo CD
I really liked this game a lot. And the other day I was in the mall, and the arcade has this absolutely awesome Raiden Fighters machine. It's one of the only machines they haven't gotten rid of yet to upgrade to something newer. I think it's because I dump a bunch of money into it everytime I'm in there.
I'm going to try and buy it from them this summer. It's time. I need to own it. It's too good not to.

What do you think a good offer would be on it? I don't know if you deal in cabs much, but I was thinking about just walking in with $500 cash and seeing if I could load it on my truck. I just want to get it before it's just not there one day. They do that all the time. Like overnight they remove a machine and replace it with another one.

Well I dont deal with cabs but I do plan to make my own cab for consoles and mame. 500$ for the whole thing seems good the pcb alone is prolly worth half that price. I guess the arcade as a Tate monitor?

Yup, Tate monitor, and it's frigging huge. The machine had a crack in the protective screen (over the monitor) a year or so ago but looks like theyve replaced it in the last few months. It's in amazing condition.
One of the better Shmup cabs I've seen. I'll have to get pictures next time I'm there, though they'd be with my phone. Still you'd get an idea of the masterpiece that I'm hoping ends up in my bedroom

Haha, Will do then Karl! And Ryan, I have no idea. I don't even know what other platforms this game is on other than the arcade. I know the Japanese version is called Sonic Wings, and as far as I know there's only Sonic Wings 2 and 3 for Neo Geo.
My guess is it's Super Famicom and SNES. However, there is a 3 game compilation for PS1 that is insanely hard to find. Been trying to order it from play-asia for like 2 years but they always cancel my order and say it's out of stock.

Sonic Wings!!! now I know what your talking about. I hate it when they change titles over here, getting me all mixed up.
I used to have that Sonic Wings Special compilation for the Saturn not too long ago (2, 3 years )... only kept the backup, Sold it for more than what I paid for and I was done with it at that time so I didnt feel bad getting rid of it but now I kinda wish I didint...

Yesss that was the other system it was on. Saturn.
And yes there's a rabbit. He's mega awesome. I almost 1cc'd the game on my first try with the rabbit because he's so ridiculous. His bomb doesn't clear the bullets like the other bombs in the game but his normal shot does an absurd amount of damage.
and yes, on SNES it's an $80 to $100 game.
