There's been a little talk of a need for this item, so I thought I would pass one around. If you need it, just post here and I'll put you on the list.
We'll be using the offer system to keep track of who has the adapter and where it's going next. Please post here when you receive and send the item so that everyone has a better idea of when they will receive it.
Originally, I stated that whoever is to receive the adapter was to pay for shipping. But, I think it makes more sense for the shipper to pay for shipping - because it's going to be passed around, whoever receives the adapter is going to end up paying for it to be shipped at one point or another. It seems to make more sense just to have him or her pay to ship it (one simple transaction), rather than waiting for someone to send a paypal or MO for $3 and then shipping (2 transactions). If people disagree, that's fine.
Also, Pyramid_party has one available and said he would be happy to lend one out. You'll have to talk to him about shipping and what not.
So, here's what we have so far:
jaric -> xena -> sixteenvolt -> rayzor6 -> electromax -> DarkLord -> SadClown

yeah, it works with both ps1 and ps2. Transfer all of this stuff over then i can get rid of a few ps1 and ps2 memory cards. I'll probably keep one of each, just incase.

Received the adapter today. I may be able to get my data transferred over by the weekend, but it'll definately be the weekend at the latest.

My lazy ass finally transferred my memory card data over to my ps3, sending rayzor the offer here in a few. Also, i'll now have 2 sony brand ps1 and 2 sony brand ps2 memory cards available.

oh, i didn't think of that, dammit. But i am greatly appreciative that we were able to do this. Still have 2 ps2 and 1 ps1 card available, if anybody needs any.

So, you can permanently transfer your PS2 save data onto the PS3 hard drive with this? If so, I'll post when I get my PS3 because I would like to do the same!

Yes, please. I don't mind having it sent to SadClown, but DarkLord inquired about it first.
Just to reiterate - the person sending the adapter pays for shipping. I'll keep updating the OP (just did it), so please let me know when you receive/ship.
