Trying to decide if i should preorder the special edition from amazon.com and get the gta iv license plate. Anybodt preordered this game, and if so, where and what are they giving away.

Pre-Ordered from Gamestop no bonuses except the stuff that comes with the SE. The manager said I could have all the posters in the stores windows after May 1st though |

yeah, all of the special editions come with the duffel bag and such. I think circuit city is doing a $10 gift card with preorder or something like that. Just was mainly wondering if anybody was giving away anything cooler than the gta iv license plate.

yeah, i thought ouch at first as well, but that's alot of stuff for the extra $30, plus free shipping.

I know people who got the game already (legally) and they said the driving was like the anti gravity cheats on the old game, almost like the roads were slick |

No, most people probably wouldn't buy most of the stuff that comes in the special editions of games seperately. I was just saying i feel it's worth the extra $30 for all of that stuff included in the special edition.

I believe Walmart and Gamecrazy are doing license plates as well, different designs however.

Wal-mart is doing a t-shirt which wouldn't fit me, and gamecrazy is doing a gamerpic unlock card.

I'll probably just get the game cuz i don't really need all that extra stuff taking up room but it's definately a good deal. |

Personally I don't think the extras are worth the money. The lock box is kinda neat I guess but other than that, the other stuff is just meh.

I dunno duffel bags can be nice to have. I actually thought about getting it for that and the fact I've always felt GTA has had some superb soundtracks. I see cheap duffel bags goin for around $20 at walmart so... Kinda need one for when I do storm call and need to pack up for going out of town. Duffel bags are good for that... or transporting dope. lol..
Depends everyone has their own opinion but I think it's a pretty decent deal. There are other games that put out a 'collectors' and give you a artbook and cel only so compared to those this great. |

I dunno about $90 but that lock box sounds useful if it is made of hard, durable material. I assume it was made to store the game and artbook. |

well, it's looking like i won't have my amazon preorder for atleast another week, i guess that'll give me plenty of time to finish rainbow six vegas, and also to start rsv2 when i'm done with that.

Amazing game. I love it. Not sure how the story will pan out but several missions in and I'm just flat out enjoying the experience. |
