When i think about the people I’ve met on this site i find i have mixed feelings, in general, not just about the people but about the way their time on gtz unfolds. Some people i thought were really cool and had good conversation others i felt brought none but who were great traders and still others who brought neither.
It’s disappointing to see people get banned for things like lack of civility because its usually the more personable/outspoken users that go that route.
The site relies on diversity to keep things fresh but it seems too often that disagreements get out of hand and name calling/badgering ensues in a way that’s not tolerable. In any diverse community there will always be clashes but maintainable peace is possible if that is the desire of the people.
I could state the obvious by saying”calling someone a doody head never solved anything” but I’m hoping we are already on the same page there.
I’ve only encountered one person on this site that I couldn’t tolerate even for a minute he’s been filtered since about ten minutes after I first encountered him well over a year ago.
All I’m saying is there are better ways to deal with things than engaging in arguments or bickering that will ultimately lose another user off this site or make someone feel less comfortable on the site and less likely to frequent the discussion areas.

I think of myself as a good trader, so I must be one of the ones that has the "wet paper bag personality" but is a good trader.
Meh, I'll take what I can get I suppose. LOL |
