I was just playing my 360 and all of a sudden the 360 froze. I turned it off, then back on, I was getting no output and I started getting the flashing red lights. Same thing happened 3 or 4 times. Then I tried it again and it worked once more. I'm worried it'll happen again really soon, is there anything that might make that happen temporarily or something? Anything I can do to make sure it doesn't happen again? It was running for like 3 minutes.

EDIT: I'm retarded, I was thinking of the "loose cables" error.
Try using this to trouble shoot.

Yeah I don't have a warranty, and I don't want to pay and wait weeks and weeks. Anyone know how to repair these?

I unfortunately have very little 360 experience, but from what everyone says there's really only one decent repair method - "The X-Clamp".
Basically you open the console, remove the x-clamps, clean up the factory thermal paste, apply new thermal paste, replace the x-clamps with screws and washers, then "overheat" the unit, reassemble, and it apparently works for the vast majority of units.
If you want to tackle it - http://www.mediafire.com/?isowjsyctnx - found at - http://xbox360fixit.com/

Turns out the Xbox was still under warranty (thank god) so shipping and repair is free, it's getting repaired as I type this.
