Since there are companies/people still releases unofficial games for the Dreamcast, I'll do my best to stay on top of them. Instead of just editing the first post I will continue on with new posts. Here's what's currently announced/in production:
Hypertension - An FPS based on Monolith's Blood series and code based on id's DOOM Source code.

Rush Rush Rally Racing - Same guys behind Beats of Rage return with a game similar to the old top down Hot Wheels games.

Isn't there a Neo Geo CD game that is almost the exact same thing?

The Dreamcast is getting another puzzle game. Irides: Master of Blocks is along the lines of Lumines and with boss battles:

Nope, OverTop. It's some wicked rare Neo Geo CD game but it's pretty much the same thing.

Looking at it, OverTop is a little different than I remember it being, but it's a really similar format.

Austria based "Consolero" website have had a chat with a redspotgames spokesman at the GamesCom, the new videogame fair in Cologne, Germany.
According to redspotgames, "Dreamcast has a small but loyal fanbase." Also there might be new commercial indie games on the Dreamcast. "As long as the scene is supporting us and the games are selling, we can bring new [commercial indie games for Dreamcast] on the market. But only a few 100 units less, and we'll lose our shirt on this."
Their latest released game was "Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles", came out November 2008.

There's a new trailer for Hypertension. Check it out at Dreamcast Junkyard:

It has a huge Duke Nukem 3D feel to it and is extremely dark. The weapons arsenal seems really cool though.
